Picks 21 - 40 get $85k.

Yep - $95K and $85K as you’ve mentioned this year.

The payments details of the current CBA are listed starting on page 67. They continue to increase over the next 2 years, however match payments are reduced from $4300 to $4000

The base payment for rookies is still $75K. Increase to $80K next year and then $85K in 2022.

Nah no chance of getting stats, most clubs would usually get some kids to keep tabs on stats but that may not happen

It’s because it isn’t professionally done the numbers are rarely accurate so there isn’t much point

It is a really interesting discussion you guys have got going.

If a full season gets played everyone can see all the kids and for the most part you can make a fairly educated call. The top 10-15 won’t change dramatically, just possibly their position depending on club needs.

But now we have the added issue of the season either not going ahead or being truncated. And to add to it, the current talk of lists being also reduced.

How will kids like the Evans’s or Gollant’s who came from the clouds last year get even a look in this time around. And does that mean a kid like Jeka doesn’t get picked this time around. Because last season there was no way I would not have picked Jeka ahead of those boys.

So there was obviously things that those two boys did outside of the Academy Hubs and National Championships that got them over the line. Ahead of an All Australian, Academy prospect.
