Okay, how about this (a joke trade):

First, we trade Pick 1 for 2 and 11. (Lol)
Then we trade pick 9, 11, 22, 23 and 40 for Essendon's picks 6,7,8.
Then we trade Pick 56 and 66 for Western Bulldogs pick 41 and a promise we don't bid with Pick 2 (hence giving us more points and saves them a few)

Out: 1,9,22,23,40,56,66
In: 2,6,7,8,41

We can't lose.

No point moving 1 for multiple picks, we can't play all the young guys and they eventually move for more opportunities as per Hatley....
We have not even played Josh worrell yet

P

probably is, but Kevin Sheehan compared him to Nick Riewoldt as well.
could be people are using it because he is a generational talent.
If Gary Buckenara says it then the phrase has truly jumped the shark.

Why do Sydney do that when a bid for Campbell that comes in before 9 will eat into those picks...
Especially considering there's close to zero chance a bid comes in before pick 3.

This seems very unlikely.

Lets not forget he thinks eveyones a flight risk for the crows if they arent from SA.

Mcdonald? Flight risk
Phillips? Flight risk

Its like is there anyone we can pick besides thilthorpe mate? Is everyone too scared to move interstate? Give me a break.
I don't think McDonald is at all, however you only have to look at the age of the Eagles forwards, and the lack of Fremantle forwards to know they'll come in hard to get him.

Personally i think McDonald is as safe as houses in that regard, however money does talk.

Didn't he make the emergencies list at least once late in the year?
Don't think he was all that far off especially late in the season.

And he was coming off a shoulder reco after the Nationals the previous year might have played into that also.[/QUOTE]

No, the AFL has stated the max main List size of 38, anyone taken in the main Draft goes onto the main List,
Crows currently have including Hately 32 players on the main list which leaves only 6 vacanies,
Do you know what is happening with Gold Coast Suns and list size? I reckon that they have 52 currently, that's 51 less Hanley plus Atkins and Markov. And they have pick 5 in this draft. So would need to delist something like 14 players before they could make a selection, and there would almost certainly be some DFA's there worth looking at. There's also some serious talent in this draft that GC can pre-list with their zone concessions but they won't be doing that if they need to get down to a list of 38. There's a chance for us to swoop if so.
Logic says that can't happen, GC must have another number (not 38), but does anyone know what that is?
The management of list sizes by the AFL is an absolute debacle.

Look guys I know it’s fun to do trade scenarios, but it’s pretty clear we won’t trade pick 1

pick 1 will be McDonald. Lock it in !
if we had pick 2 would have been Holland’s, but that didn’t happen due to vfl bias

we want Holland’s, and the question is how do we get him. That is what ready and Hamish will be doing, finding a way to get Holland’s.

he will slide but how many places

we will take McDonald though, no question after bidding on JUH

No Mate, I could understand if you called me a wall nut, But to call me a Liar, is completely different, I come from era and area where you don't call a person a liar without backing it up, and you don't hide behind a PC, Maybe the time has changed, but I don't have too nor will I accept it.
And in case you forgot, I never once mention he Played more in the midfield than forward line, I mention when he plays as a Midfielder and times he went into the midfield, He Prove to most who watched he was a Midfielder.
So where the Lie.
You and some other need to understand hiding behind a keyboard is not an excuse for sacrificing some basic decency, there are people from all ages and all walks of Life,
I’m not hiding. I’m talking to you.
As much as you are knowledgeable there are parts that can be refuted, and I will continue to do so without you goin down base exercise of saying the responder is angrily tapping keys.
I’m sure you are used to it so take note that you are not dealing with a backtracking type.

I think theres a high chance we'll be able to trade with either hawthorn or gold coast to get hollands.

id be happy with just those 2 excluding our academy picks. im completely sold on borlase. Id also take a punt on newchurch because Im still not sure if stengle will make it.

Since we're not in a hurry to trade down, we should set the price for #1 with a premium of 50% (if not more) - Port paid nearly 50% more in points worth to get pick 6 for Rozee in 2018.

North trading #2 for it and including pick #11 would be around the mark, or if we think North finish bottom 6 and us middle 6, #2 and their 2021 r1 pick for #1 and our 2021 r2 would be around the mark.

As for the Bumbs, 6, 7 and 8 for 1 and 40 would be around the mark (applying the bad guy anti-discount for Dodo).

Port did that specifically to snake us for Rozee (while we sat there with our thumb up our arse, so good on them); you wouldn’t do it unless it was for such a specific, strong reason.

There's no chance we trade 1.
9 would be some chance, or else the 2 20s for a mid teen pick for sure.
There is a very small chance we trade pick 1. Reid said as much.

We would only trade it for massive overs & we get back into the top 3 picks.

It's bloody unlikely.

Question is whether we trade up if someone we like is slipping.

WB certainly aren’t going to shaft us. The risk for them would be too great.
if it’s a close thing points wise then they will deal with us.
Oh they did, they still sting in the anoos over the Talia, Cheney bit and to be honest they are campaigning campaigners because we beat them in finals.

I think there is zero chance that we trade pick 1.

Every club, every years says trading pick 1 is an option but almost never happens

I would like us to bid at pick 1 on the best player in the draft, force WB to match our bid and that way take the #1 pick pressure of our then pick 2 throughout his career

I wouldn’t trust Justin Reid’s comments in this situation as far as you can throw them.
Thank god right now that the metric shifts now to Hamish Ogilvie and a committee.

Pick 1 has been traded a few times before...

Reid said he is not completely closed to the idea but very unlikely we would part with it.

So no it's not zero chance, but yes it's not far off zero.
