GWS trade Fremantle's 2020 4th + future 3rd for Western Bulldogs' Jackson Trengove


Seems fair

I like the creativity. Trengove is a free agent though, so no picks would be required. Best case scenario for the Dogs is we get a 3rd rounder (I believe that's the lowest band of compensation, assuming the contract is good enough to give us anything in the first place)

Sydney can't afford to be shipping off experienced players, and I'm not sure they'd be happy enough with that deal. If they wanted Fiorini, they'd probably just try trade for him without giving away Lloyd in the process

We don't have a 2nd this year, and i'm not sure Brodie is worth that cost.
Not sure what the knock is on Brodie, but he was struggling to break into that side last year and is nowhere near it this year.

Lipinski is great offensively not so much defensively although I think that's something he can improve on. His biggest disadvantage is that his very slow. He has quality disposal however.
McLean is more balanced however lacks a point of difference.

The Brown trade seems fine, just a little overloaded.

Doubt you'd get that value packaging up Dumont and Ahern. Both have very little value.

Goldstein trade seems good too.

Ziebell probably not worth that price for GC, besides a rebuilding club should not be trading their captain

Goldstein had his chance last year doubt that happens again although the value is fair.

JZ won't be traded.

Brown doesn't hold that value (of a likely top 5 pick) at This point in time.
