rules changed a few years ago. as soon as the ball crosses the goal line on a kickoff its dead. the return team no longer needs to grab it and take a knee or call it dead

Oh fair enough, I just remember not knowing it could be recovered and having a TD scored against me in Madden years ago. lol

Ratings were still good on Thursday. its just no one wants to watch the Texans.
I think the Texans playoff games were the lowest rated games in January.

But yeah the NHL got about 900K and NBA playoffs got 2.5M both on the same time.
