NFL 2020 NFL - Week 5

Dolphins placed LT Austin Jackson (foot) on injured reserve.
Jackson will miss at least three weeks. Already one of the worst offensive lines in the league, this is a huge loss for the Dolphins, who will now turn to Julie'n Davenport or Jesse Davis on Ryan Fitzpatrick's left side. Jackson was the No. 18 overall pick in this year's draft.

He's a smart man BFlo, sticking with Fitz.

By a coach that got sacked for sucking at developing an offence.

How'd Keenum go against him in the playoffs a few years later?

Had a great defense tho, much like Chicago. Josh McDaniels was the play caller still. After seeing how he'd got Cam going to start this year hes not the worst OC to be under.

looks like ESPN will state "NFL minis" from week 6 of the games they broadcast. but only in 30 mins. so will be even more condensed than the Gamepass Football in 60
Overdue. Still waiting for AFL minis

Sadly AFL wont happen till the next broadcast rights. Fox dont have rights to make their own highlights/condense games. Just like how they need to use the Ch7 feed when streaming on a Fox platform like FoxGo or Kayo

Wasnt Josh the OC for the Rams when Foles was with them? I was pretty sure he was. Maybe Im wrong tho.

I don't think so. I think he was OC under Spags.

But even then- my question was how did Keenan go against Foles in the playoffs.

Foles played against the 'best in the league' Vikings defence. How'd they show out?

I'm not discrediting him, he was amazing in those playoffs, but there has been nothing like those performances since.

Of course there hasnt, across the NFL there's like one or two guys that can claim to have played at that level in the time since.

It's not true he's been trash since: he was an Alshon drop away from beating the Saints in the Superdome the next year and putting us back in the NFC Champs game. He won a playoff game on the road in Chicago.

He might be the hardest to place quarterback in terms of legacy etc in NFL history. If you put him in the right system with certain types of players he can be damn near unstoppable, and he has a whole range of intangibles that other quarterbacks could only dream of: he seems to show up when the game's on the line (I wish Wentz would start showing that). If you put him in a system not suited to his strengths he'll look like a career back up.

Do you think chicago is the place for that? I mean for 6.5 of the 9 quarters he's played this year hes been terrible.

Personally, I think it will come undone badly at some stage unless the bears d can keep playing like they did last night, I'm pretty convinced Nagy is a fraud at this stage. How can you not have any run game whatsoever for 3 years now?

Whoever's decision it was to throw to Robinson late and stop the clock was horrendous.
