BTW - how many times has a team allowed no third down conversions and lost the game??

The two allowed 4th down conversions were key though, and the non-conversion by the Vikings. Cook would have bounced it outside and converted it, Maddison is good, but not that good.

Yea that Mattison run, he had all kinds of space for a 4th and inches run. Chose the one lane that was closed.

See it a lot with the great players who can identify mid play or even at the hand off that plan ( a ) may not be the best option and change up the initial play design.

It's one of those damned if you do / damned if you don't moments tho, if you don't follow the instructions of the play design, you better be sure youre able to make something happen.

Hard to blame Mattison really, should have just got a better block I guess, wasn't exactly a massive pile in front of him.

Colts need to give some serious consideration to promoting Eason.

Their offense lacks any sort of punch under Rivers. Desperately need a qb with some arm strength so teams can't just crowd the box.
