The clinical trial from the Queensland Researchers will take 3 months and is being rolled out to around 50 hospitals on people with the virus. If the results are positive, the government will definitely skip over normal protocols to get this mass produced and out to all hospitals in Australia.

You will not see anything before January next year... and that’s only if everything goes to plan. In medical research, nothing ever goes to plan.

It depends how dire things get. There is already work being done to alter models of care if things get dire enough.

If we get to a situation like Italy and there is a drug that can potentially clear people out faster to make beds and ventilators available we will risk the side effect if a drug seems strong in initial trials.

Players only wanted a 50% pay cut until the end of May, AFL have rejected that and they are in dispute and AFL pissed it was leaked. The players are acting like spoilt brats.

Clubs have been decimated.

The AFL are going to NAB for a $500M line of credit.

Clubs could go broke within 3 months. There is a $260M cash shortfall in the next 3 months and without the line of credit clubs will go.

This ain’t going to be pretty and why I supported the comp starting.

They need to make sure they save lives, not cost them.

The AFL will always be around in some capacity, in just might be in a reduced form in the future, be it temporarily or permanently.

I know one thing is for sure, the less Clubs in the competition will provide a better spectacle and the less Clubs in Melbourne will make it easier for my club and our club the Crows to compete and win.
