In essence. We know all our 2nd and third rounders are going to get chewed up by an early Jones bid (crows). Any pick we hold loses its value once that bid comes in. We might as well get fantasia for our second and get a heap of picks from essendon following their other deals. Then we'll have enough points to ensure we cover a later bid on Schofield. If we can score anyone else it's a plus. But with the AFL undecided on list sizes, it's hard for us to know if its worth keeping some picks.

If we give 26 to essendon for fantasia... i would want something coming back our way... there pick 41?
If the bloke could stay on the park fair enough but look at Burton, breaking down in a prelim may have cost us, we will never know.

I am with you but knowing Dodo bird he will want 26 and Bonner lol.

I get the strong feeling Chris Davies thinks this Trade Radio fiasco is a massive waste of time.
Bulldogs are trying to convince Dunkley to stay. His main concern is being used in the ruck. I’m against trading Ladhams for average players. But I would trade Ladhams, Bonner, pick 31 for Hunter. I think Bulldogs would rather lose Hunter then Dunkley. His younger & on less money & Essendon are a close rival.
Hunter is 25yo & the class we desperately need.

Double A’s name has been out in the pre trade rumour-mill for about 3 weeks so as far as I’m concerned where there’s smoke there is fire. Just a bit of shuffling around before the big dance.
With our three tall’s being marked as out of bounds then a 3rd party deal will most probably be done that will find Double A at Port and another ruckman at Sydney in 2021, get it done CD!
I’ll be happy for this to be our only trade for 2021.
Essendon can go and get stuffed for their unreasonable demands for Fantasia and the bloke with the double barrel name won’t be first 22 in 2021.

We have a pretty defensive game plan.

What do y’all think about Ladhams being a part-time defender/2nd ruck? Never really seen this done at PAFC but he could cover the third tall, or second ruckman going forward.

- Covers just those games when teams play 3 talls and/or a second ruck
- Houston could be part mid/defender.
- Georgiades plays the third tall
- Ladhams is pretty mobile and a reasonable field kick.
- Gives Ladhams some more defensive skills and another option incase an injury occurs, or one of our defenders is getting pantsed

Just thinking trade wise, this could alleviate in the short term (but not solve our need for a tall back), saving us spending points and going after Allir Allir or someone else next year as a free agent.

Lol Essendon set to get 7 for daniher. That puts to bed any pick 2 for crouch. There will be a ******* riot in Victoria.
Essendon currently have pick 6 so there compensation pick is after there first pick in the draft. If Crouch gets a similar contract the crows get pick 2 because they currently have pick 1 in the draft.

Last night C4 had Aliir as ‘likely’ to be at Port, now he’s no chance. Quick turn of events.

I think I've brought this up before but this has 0 influence on C4's credibility. My cousin was meant to be traded to Port, had it from the horses mouth, he changed his mind. Facts change quickly with trades.

If we're going to get a key defender for "Free" I'd honestly be keen on trying to get Tarrant. He fits a gap for a year or so when we develop a bit of our youth.

Wouldn't say he pulls out of contests.

He just lacks the ability for it. He can't outbody anyone or react quick enough.
I attended every game except one at AO this season and he on multiple occasions during more than one game pulled out of a contest or decided not to compete. That's completely unacceptable.
