It was AA’s second half effort, mind you just by himself, that stopped that Sydney game from being a complete wipeout. I reckon most of the Sydney players had already hoisted the white flag. We had them on toast but they outscored us in 2nd half thanks to AA.
As I said before, he was one of the opposition players that impressed me with my limited watching of games at AO this year.

Bulldogs are trying to convince Dunkley to stay. His main concern is being used in the ruck.

I bet that was a discussion he never thought he'd have to have.

CD on AA said no players asked to be traded and no player was asked to look at their options in their exit interviews. That doesn't mean things can't change.

Was pretty strong on the 3 rucks staying.
Here is the CD interview last night on 5AA.

If the bloke could stay on the park fair enough but look at Burton, breaking down in a prelim may have cost us, we will never know.

I am with you but knowing Dodo bird he will want 26 and Bonner lol.
Burton definitely cost us. It was the biggest ****-up of that PF.

If we're going to get a key defender for "Free" I'd honestly be keen on trying to get Tarrant. He fits a gap for a year or so when we develop a bit of our youth.

So you still haven't given up hopes of pulling on the PAFC guernsey, Matt? Dare to dream.

I personally think that right now Port have enquired about Aliir, Sydney have probably said unlikely unless we can move in another big man as a result. Sydney looked over our list, got some firm no's and now are looking over other lists at potential rucks that could move their way. If they find one and we think we can satisfy what that other club would want for the ruck, the door may re-open.

I think overall us in the forums are far too quick to look at the smaller picture and direct trades. These clubs would basically know every player on every list that wants to move or might be a chance of moving, as well as what types of players clubs are willing to trade and what they want player wise or salary shedding wise, and I'm sure they have their initial discussions to get this inf before going away and trying to piece together their own scenarios. When CD says our list managers have talked, and we have just enquired about a few players, but nothing else has happened. I'd believe that. I'd believe that these clubs are making the basic info known to one another, keeping their options open and working through how they can string together trades across complex single and multi club deals.

So I'm convinced Aliir is still a chance. Lot of water to go under the bridge yet.

Lol Essendon set to get 7 for daniher. That puts to bed any pick 2 for crouch. There will be a ******* riot in Victoria.
What is that media speculation? They always speculate that players will get way over

Brisbane would have to have rocks in their heads to give daniher a contract of that size.

he doesn’t even need money as a selling point. Hey daniher, come to a deep finals bound young team outside of Melbourne in great weather where we can properly manage your injuries and not be total campaigners like Essendon.. it’s like they have to manufacture reasons to get out of where he is, he desperately wants out of there.

I wrote yesterday for Aliir to get to Port it will need a 3 or 4 club deal. We won't get rid of anyone of our 3 rucks - that's lunacy, but if another club has a ruckman to move on to replace Aliir at Sydney we will try and get involved and get him to Sydney and another player/picks will be involved.

Weve used 5 in the last 2 years. We’ll be right for a few years
Yeah we have traded back in first round picks so that is taken into account under the AFL formula.

Just don't see us having the collateral to get allir and Fanta unless we move next yrs first rounder .

We have plenty of half back flankers to trade out for players and/or picks.

Exactly, though the club has been extremely effusive in praise for the current draft class. Hinkley went as far to label them as all 1st round talents. So if we have to give up our 1st round pick next year, I could see them falling back on the 18 and 19 draft classes as reason for why we made such a decision.

If we trade out next years 1st we will again have bugger all trade collaterol (like this year) and with Jase at this stage a likely earlyish pick - I don't want our future 1st touched thanks.

when you have good FS's coming through, isnt it good to have bugga all to use apart form a bunch of later picks? Its a rare opportunity to get top kids with late picks
