Constable though would have exactly the same problem here that he has at Geelong. Not good enough to crack the starting centre square mid rotation and not versatile enough to play anywhere else.

Narkle though the midfield and forward holds appeal. Injury this season stuffed things up for him I suspect. For nothing the absolute worse outcome is that he becomes really good depth.

There’s several young mature age key defenders floating around that could be drafted with a nothing pick that should be an option for us.

yeah you can have guys who are gut runners who work into space. I don’t think constable is that guy though.

Also Adelaide oval and port aren’t known for having lots of space to run into

We could use some pace around the middle we have some good ball getters but lack that breakaway speed.
I still think Narkle would be a good get for us.
