Guys, a simple question: What happens to my multi if among top 20 there are multiple players winning the same number of votes?
For example Cam Guthrie and Josh Kelly tallying their votes with someone else for 15th and 16th Place?
odds are halved if tied with one player, so if you took $2 for a top 20 player I think you only get 1.50?? its called a dead heat rule, tied with 2 other players you'll only get 1.33 for a $2 odds... correct me if im wrong guys

(Or 3 players getting same number of votes to claim 11th place?) In this situations, will each player be counted as 11th, 12th and 13th? Or they all remain as 11th among the top 20? Thanks

If that is the situation, what happens if there are 3 players tallying their votes for the 20th spot? Who among the three is going to be counted as 20th?

All players tied for 20th spot will all be counted but deadheat rules will apply. Odds for that player will be divided accordingly by the number of players tied for that position. You will still win your multi, but at decreased odds

Steele definitely more than 1 in R8
genuinely curious, do you watch the game or go off stats or something else?

Parker would be lucky to get any votes in R13 let alone 3.

Coaches votes in R12 and 13 both have Steele equal top (Parker not in it at all), as well as you not having Steele poll at all Vs Adel

You don't happen to go for St Kilda and perhaps have money on Steele by any chance do you?

If you have 3 players tieing for 20th spot eg, 20th, 21st and 22nd tieing in a 3-way tie, you would be paid out 1/3rd of your payout.

If you have 2 players tieing for 20th spot eg 20th and 21st, its a 2-way tie, and you would be paid 1/2 of your payout.

Both are part of 'dead heat rules'.

Could also have a situation hypothetically,

where 19th spot could be say tied with 9 players. 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd , 24th , 25th, 26th and 27th would be paid out 2/9ths of a dividend if placing a bet on a Top 20.

Do you mind if I ask your reason for giving Walsh the 3 against Brisbane in round 6?

Decent performing midfielder in a losing side and came 4th in coaches votes. Mccluggage seem like the logical choice for 3, potentially 2 to Mckay who had 15 possessions, 9 marks and 6 goals?

Then I think it's a toss up between Walsh and Zorko. Personally think Walsh gets 1 vote here max, and could even get 0.

This was a difficult game at the time to vote on and I reviewed it at length.

Ultimately felt Walsh was the dominant player on the ground throughout - and yes McKay does get the 6 so was also very good - but Walsh's contested work under the umpire's eye as well as putting the Blues insider 50 8 times (2nd on the ground overall) leans me to the 3.

If Walsh gets that many votes, I’ll streak at the grand final. You’re way off. Carlton won 8 games and most of their losses were bad.

I also gave Walsh 3 here.

He was involved all night and very noticeable. He was constantly on the move with the ball in his hands, no stationary handballs in a chain or pointless sideways kicks across half back. Took ground every time and his work in traffic was a feature, weaving through congestion. Kicked a goal too.

I actually think Zorko was also better than McCluggage here, his tackling pressure stood out and he won a lot of ball from breaking up Carlton's handball chains, turning the flow of play around.

McCluggage was okay, he was in it most of the night and his weight of numbers was good but his influence on the match wasn't as pronounced as his stats indicate.

Devon Robertson had more influence than Clugg but probably didn't do enough.

McKay played well and is a chance, Curnow was just as good as McCluggage if not better but hard to see so many votes going to Carlton in a loss.

Reckon this is a game which McCluggage favourite to get 3 votes is too short. Currently priced at $1.22 to get the 3 votes at Sportsbet, which is too short. There is value in looking at an outsider.

It’s his votes, his votes have nothing to do with you. If you don’t like what he’s got don’t follow him, it’s simple.
