I think he's mentioned a few times that he's more pro-Essendon than pro-Dogs. I don't remember the reasoning behind it, although I have a vague memory about the WAGs being more inclusive of Haylea or something? I don't recall any particular bitterness towards the Dogs, just idk got on with people better at Essendon. Not that it really matters much. This trade is clearly dogshit, but if you think Cooney is biased towards the Dogs, I can only assume you didn't catch a single minute of Trade Radio last year. He was absolutely insufferable in his disdain towards the Dogs and worshipping of Essendon. This trade is sh*t because Cooney has single digit IQ, not because he's biased towards the Dogs
SOS - "its a good question"! No it's not. Its fu**en one eyed nuffy rubbish. That should be his response to 90% of these donuts that ring him.
No not really. Apparently I didn't know what I was missing though because there are few things funnier than an unintentional comedian. Mind you that trade is even more absurd if there isn't a Dogs bias involved. This trade is clearly dogshit, but if you think Cooney is biased towards the Dogs, I can only assume you didn't catch a single minute of Trade Radio last year. I think he's pretty self aware at this point and just throws in scenarios he knows are downright stupid. At least, that's what I like to tell myself, as it's a nicer thought to have than to think about the fact a guy this dumb could be making hundreds of thousandsNo not really. Wanna guess where Cooney's biases lie?
According to Cooney if we had retained pick 2 and took it to the draft North Melbourne were going to be very nice to us and allow us to get two top 4 picks by not bidding on Daicos to force us to use it for him. Don't get me wrong GWS got a bargain, but would North really allow us a free hit like that?Lol does he even know how bid matching works?moron.
Barrett is hilarious.
He gets incredibly furious that clubs want to try to get a good deal.
He can’t understand why they don’t just “get the deal done!”
St Kilda's 5th round pick for Gaff, McGovern and Kennedy's beard.Barrett is hilarious.

Outside of Cerra there is not a lot of star players getting traded too.Whats the lowest number of traded players in a period, are we looking at about 11 this year? That's got to be one of the lowest ever
I dont think we'll even have the ruck depth traded. It's going to be an almighty snoozefest hahaOutside of Cerra there is not a lot of star players getting traded too.
I am going to think that we will have a lot more pick trades and ruck depth getting traded this year
There are always players who you don't expect to get tradedWhats the lowest number of traded players in a period, are we looking at about 11 this year? That's got to be one of the lowest ever
Maybe, get the feeling with pay cuts, it wont be the case this yearThere are always players who you don't expect to get traded

I think Dawson has the potential to be the most interesting one, only because Adelaide and Sydney seem to be on completely different wavelengths for the trade to go down.
But yes, it is going to be an uneventful one. No one really wants to move, and so thats why for the most part it is fringe players who can't get a game. I still hope that Neale backtracks last minute and declares he wants to be at Freo. That would spice things up.
From what I can gather...Whats the lowest number of traded players in a period, are we looking at about 11 this year? That's got to be one of the lowest ever
How so?he’s genuinely, the stupidest football brain I’ve listened to on a media platform.
Suma, move over

Also Lynch to North as a rookie/coach but idk if that counts. Then there's Dumont, Constable, Brander, Brodie, McPherson, Lobb, Dawson, Battle, Cox, vandenBerg, McGovern, Wallis, Zaharakis, Hartley, Hartlett and some others that are thought to be on the trade table or gettable or whatever but haven't have a lot of rumours or links to any particular clubs.
Should be some big pick swaps as well as a couple of clubs need points and others are looking to move up into the first round.
