briztoon has a better memory than me for this but I'm pretty sure the order was >
11- Wilmot.
12- Sinn.
13- Chesser
14- Lohmann.

IIRC Alleer didn't get a mention in the top 20 which is all we were told.
15. JVR
16. Howes
17. Brown

22. Goater

Number of journos now saying we were one of the big winners out of night 1. Certainly making some of the comments from last night look a bit premature.

The complete melts on here if none of those half-backs (as mentioned above) were available and we chose Lohmann with our first pick at 16 instead last night, would have caused our club forum on here to go absolutely nuclear at the club, especially for users like Jackess ;)
We would have gone the slider from our top 10.

Always going to be melts.

Really just goes to show you how different clubs rank players to BigFooty draft watchers.

Geelong apparently were going to pounce at 23.

If anyone is still unhappy that Lohmann wasn't rated high in phantom drafts and rankings, look no further than eDPS who had him at #21 in his rankings

And to think I called eDPS a hack behind his back!

Start of fox footy broadcast tonight replaying the Wilmot pile-on, Shifter made a passing comment that if he was born 4 hours later he could possibly be the 1st pick next year.
Given his age I see him almost as an NBA draft and stash type of pick, let him physically mature this year with no pressure or expectation to play seniors if not ready.

Kai I have watched grow up in a little town he was a absolute jet in all grades of football and Basketball, bball to quick and skilful for everyone. Footy wise takes hangers from a 10 year old and has continued too. Yes he has some very quiet games but also on the other hand games where he is running rings around the opposition. This young fella has grown up from a wild unharnessed talent. Coaches at the Rebels have put an enormous amount of time into him. Bailey Frisch is a very good comparison fleet footed wise just Kai has a bit more speed. If we get Kai to come on like Bailey Frisch has no one here should be complaining. His older brother was also close to being drafted and lead Rebels for hardball and tackles until injured mid year a few years back. Ultra competitors and more than comfortable getting him into our Lions

I think they just won the draft, until we re-evaluate in a couple of years at least.

Would be good to see Freo have a half decade or so as the dominant WA team. Put West Coast in their box for a while.
