It's pretty galling that Eddie felt entitled enough to put his son down as producers or whatever thinking he'd get waved through because he's Eddie. Like, he knew they weren't what he said, and everyone else knew his sons weren't what he said but wink wink hey we're all lads here boys, right?

Should of heard him on Footy Classified , kept working his way around it . Caro saying Swans have offered Parker more than whats been reported and the Lyon said this doesn't normally get out . But he also said no one wants to leave the club

Lyon apparently has pulled out of the Carlton job - does not want to go through the interview process which in a way is fair enough. He was undoubtedly promised the job, they back tracked hoping for Clarko and now are saving face - in the process losing Lyons.
What a complete shambles.
Literally about to start pre-season, draft and trading imminent, whole season to plan for and the "review" was started mid year with the idea of sacking Teague anyway. With no coach.

It's woeful planning, but funnily enough it may be good for Carlton not to get Lyon.
IMO, they need to pull a Collingwood. Get someone who has been in the system, has worked hard, has a lot of experience, and give them a team and a long tenure. None of this "we'll play finals next year" bullcrap.
