GC and GWS have club-branded face masks. I can't believe others don't.

I have been reading the FAQ (whilst on hold, requested a call back but that was over two hours ago and have heard nothing) and it seems to indicate that there are two types of affected ticket holders... Those who are affected and have been already been allocated a replacement seat, and those who are affected but they require extra information before finalising replacement seats... By the sounds of it you and I fall into the latter category

I tend to think you are right, although I'm struggling to understand why I would fall into the latter category - I have two tickets and have never done any group booking or similar.

I'm only guessing, but it may be that one of your two tickets was affected and so they'll try to move both so as to not split them up... On the giant list the club released only one of my two seats was affected but both are going to need to be moved by the sound of it... But I know nothing, I am still sitting on hold

Wait music as you didn’t request it.

Official AFL PAFC branded facemasks are available, I bought one when we had the lockdown, I think the Port Store also had them in stock not long back.

Something to do with the slightly different setup for the Western side maybe?

Our 4 seats not impacted. Hoping the grumpy bloke near the end of the row who wedges his knees into the back of the seat in front and refuses to move when anyone tries to shuffle past has been moved elsewhere.

Don‘t you love that. If we leave our seats, it’s always during a decent break in play, and the same on our return. But you know those that just won’t move an inch.

Good luck !!!
Finally got through. No luck for me, by the sounds of it to keep Level 1 people on Level 1 they're moving any affected people down to the Northern end, between bays 141 and 146, so my two will be shifted down there.

Apparently they'll be allocating seats for the people who are being moved into these bays this weekend when they aren't facing the deluge of phone calls from angry members. I expect next week is when we will be informed of which seats we've actually been relocated to.

Hoping to sneak in the odd game in my regular seats with my football group of over 15+ years, but I'll need to hope for a bit of luck

The worst part is the low drawing games where we max out at 28 to 30k and I'll still be stuck in general admission trash tier seating.

I know it's a bit more work for the membership team but surely those that aren't 11 game members could've been put in GA and those seats be replaced by the full members affected by the seating plan.

I wont be happy if I am sitting in the nosebleed section.

Could not care less about the $35 gift voucher.

Have been a platinum member since day one and pledged 100% last season.

Just goes to show loyalty is not rewarded.

No it doesn't. The club has no say in the fact that you had to move. They're not making the rules.

meanwhile as far as I know we still haven't got our digital memberships yet and it's our first pre-season game on the weekend. The **** is going on with the app where this shit is meant to be.

I don't love that they've locked in these seating changes all season. In September we could easily be mostly vaccinated without an outbreak in months, with a crucial late season game with a huge ticket demand and we'll still have a reduced capacity with groups split up and displaced.

I'd rather wear a mask for the entire game than have this pod system. It makes little sense given how many bottlenecks of people you get at a football stadium. At the gates, in lines, in the toilets, in the aisles as quarters end. On buses and trains on the way to the game. Who are we kidding here?

Just enforce masks for the entire game if you're worried (which they clearly aren't or we wouldn't be getting 40k into the ground).

Got an email from the club re our seat changes for season 2021 and was initially outraged and even filed a complaint for a call back from the club but now think “what the heck” it’s not going to change anything so let’s just go with the flow. IT IS WHAT IT IS!
