Got an email from the club re our seat changes for season 2021 and was initially outraged and even filed a complaint for a call back from the club but now think “what the heck” it’s not going to change anything so let’s just go with the flow. IT IS WHAT IT IS!
Did you complete the group relocation form in the initial seat change email or contact the club directly? I did the form but didn’t receive an acknowledgment email, so I’ll be ringing at 10 to see what’s happening?
It’s more than 4K affected, 1 of our family’s is so we’re all needing to move. Stupid thing is there’s a spare seat in our row so can’t everyone move up 1 rather than we have to move from undercover to likely the hill at this late stage?

I'm just sick and tired that after 12 months of doing the right thing so we can get back to normal, we're being mollycoddled like there is still a threat to our lives.

Of my two tickets, one was affected and one was not. Annoying, but it is what it is, and at the end of the day being in a position to regularly go to the footy is fantastic. I’ve filled out the request form to keep together, but did not get a confirmation email or any word yet. Has anyone else that had to do this received anything? I’m mindful of the high volume of calls the club would be taking so don’t want to call needlessly if I can avoid it.

I too filled the form with no confirmation returned. Rang the club this morning, nice bloke said those who filled the form will be sorted out over the weekend & really all they can do for now is help people fill in the form. You, like me are in the 2k or thereabouts who haven’t been offered a relocation due to it being a bit tricky. This calmed my anxiety a fair bit. He agreed not getting a confirmation or recipient of completing the form has been unhelpful.

Excellent, thanks. That’s good to know.

Absolutely.

And this might become an all time cold take, but it'll look even more ridiculous if we're all vaccinated in September and we haven't had an outbreak for the entire season.

I'm all for going hard early, but either it's a threat and having 40,000 people at a game is insanely irresponsible, or it's not a threat and we should just add 20% more people.

2 member packs in the mail today :D

Stated "Member since 1997" - actually since 1979, but I guess it's correct on the basis that you would say that The Power only came into being in 1997, and I was only a Magpies (SANFL) member prior to that.

I'm similar having been a PAFC member pre-AFL entry but they only count the AFL years.

Anyone still waiting for the call re impacted seats and relocation?

I'm still waiting and submitted my Group relocation form Wednesday night. Just the two seats so would of thought I'd heard something by now. Any idea if they're working down the pecking order Ie: Club 1870, Platinum and so on...

No idea. I'm Club 1870, also with group location and haven't heard anything yet.

I think another email update would have been nice since the original impacted seat email.

I would assume and hope that this is the case!

For anyone wondering about going digital with their membership, I received a response from the club today.

They said tickets will be found in the app (we sort of knew that), but the key point of information was that the tickets "would be available closer to game day"

Really poor communication for the members who did go digital tbh. There has been zero comms about this and associated time frames. Bigger fish to fry for the membership team atm though.

Come the first home game, even if I have to go and annoy the people at the membership tent, one way or another I'm sure I'm getting in.
