How do we feel about the Gentleman below? Down year by his standards last year BUT he can go huge.
Generally one of the better scorers.

View attachment 1034490

His scoring pattern is now well set. He's a notch below the star mids (Supercoach wise) with 108 as his best ever SC season average. Will probably manage around 100 to 105. Would only select if he was priced at a strong discount. There are better selections for cheaper who might make it as a M8. Heppell for example.

I too am a survivor.
Surely he won't be that sh*t again. Good for close to 110 if he plays as he should.

Heppell...I just can't do it. Will he wind back the clock 5yrs?
I have Cunnington currently and even that feels weird but I think he's best value around that mark.

Hately I don't think will get to the 100's.
Serong will be a gun...Will he buck the trend of 2nd yr blues. (Rowell is in this boat too I suppose)

Your average is spot on. The previous season I was in raptures with his 207, not so much with the big fat zero. So he did average 103.5 for those two rounds. But after last season's effort he's now locked on my never again list. :rage:

I too am a survivor also on the never again list and also with Cameron gone now they are pinning their hopes on Hogan being the white knight LOL. I am scared picking any of these GWS campaigners because they will definately play forward but I will take a risk with Taranto.

And helmet gets 100 most weeks. It's a lot of players sharing the points.

Are they all going to drop 10 points? Or will one them suffer more? Hard to say, I reckon macrae will drop the most.

Only one I'm keen on is dunkley as a forward.
Macrae may find himself taking wing rotations. Should end up with the same number of possessions but a lower average as more of his touches are uncontested.

Not a hope.

Remembering we are back to normal quarters this year, here's some crude guesstimates for Neale based on his tog and points from previous years. An average in the range of 116 to 125 looks like a fair prediction to me.

Think I can remember someone doing an analysis of Brownlow players often dropping SC output the year after winning.
Similar to how a lot of peoe think that becoming the captain of the side will see players increase scoring but more often that not that drop a few points instead.

I aint touching Neale. Maybe not Gawn either.
Seagull is like Gawn where they are clear standouts by 10 points or so which makes it hard to leave them out.
They are all over priced but Neale will be easier to replace as number one MID.
Something is gotta give.

I bet if their names were changed to Lachie Hurn and Max Hurn you would pick them

Did you see that Shannon Neale guy?

Man can you imagine. A guy with Hurns leg and the accumulation and swervability of Neale :rainbow:

LMAO got nufin on Max KING

I got the big 4 kents $$$$

Seagull (went all 2020 without him), Neale (Went all 2020 without him because useless POS oppo coaches won't tag), Grundy and Gawn straight up.

The rest, I'm going for value this year. Not just mids but all over. Even better if people get scared away and it ends up being a POD

Yeo, Cripps, TT, Rowell, Heppell... get in and around my chol 🍆

Heppell won't be kept but the others all have potential to stay. Taranto was my starting POD all of 2019 and it was glorious.

You sure about Yeoee mate?
That groin is still suspect.

I'll check tonight gaiz
With great knowledge comes great responsibility ..... your Community needs your lowdown on Yeo

Particularly as he’s sitting at M5 in my side

M4 for me, we have training track watchers, we'll know if he's a starter by the end of Jan I reckon.
Did Yeo have an OP on his groins. ? .... will have been 5+ months since

I’m hoping he bounces right back to 107+ if he’s injury free

No op, club are being cautious with him.
He's been seen walking laps before Xmas.
If he's not running by the end of Jan I'm getting Sloane or Taranto type instead.

What is everyone's opinion on Patrick Cripps?
I started with him last year and held him all year hoping he would come good only for him to finish off with a 26 in the Grand final
His last 3 years have gone (2018 119.4) (2019 117.1) & (2020 97.5)
Do you guys think he can get back over 110 again this year?

I think you'd be crazy not to pick him at that price. The upside is massive. Absolute lock IMO.

Plus 1 here

Have looked at Walsh, and think he’ll improve his ave .... but Cripps can punch out 150’s which Walsh hasn’t demonstrated yet

Both Yeo and Cripps have the potential to burn me two years straight after starting both last year and carrying them through shit form and injury.

Cripps the spud killed me hard 2 or 3 times as captain when I really needed him as well. I'm talking a 50 point score. Ultimate prick.

I'm on board again this year because surely they can't be that bad again. If Yeo misses the start of the year I'll pass, see how we go in the wizard cup.
