No we want him to sign a 10 year extension
This is where port are stuffed

The other top 4 and even top 8 sides ( apart from Geelong with their cheat ground) are all headed by very good coaches
who will oucoach Hinkley 9 times out of 10

Hinkley’s finish has been masked by the soft draw and playing oppo sides without their stars

and it’s glorious

Boak and Gray need to be transitioned out of the side/positions - SPP should be on the trade table

Pick 16 this year and then 70 - they dont have visible capital - SPP gets them? pick 30-40?

They cant be giving away next years 1st either as thats when they definitely need new blood

Hartlett, Motlop and Rockliff should be off their list

Imagine Wines is the only candidate next year who gets them back into another 1st round pick if they choose to slash and burn

Lol he’s their best assistant

#torn

This will be interesting to see what happens.

This is pure speculation, but with Port having to borrow last year from the AFL for COVID the AFL now control their purse strings to some degree.

I wouldn't be surprised if the AFL are forcing Port to cut back their spending so these high profiled assistants who were previously getting decent coin can no longer be afforded by them with the financial restrictions that the AFL has put in place.

The obvious sign will be if they replace him with someone relatively cheap.

I'm hoping they have their Hart, Godden, Mattner moment.

Carlton aren’t actually considering Voss are they? They can’t be that desperate.
They are. Backed themselves into a corner with talk of wanting an experienced head coach then all the good ones told them they're not interested.

In a couple of weeks they'll be sounding out Guy McKenna and Brenton Sanderson

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.

They made a fuss about them all apparently taking less money to keep the team together, because they are just that much more united than every other club.

That only lasts until the job offers come and now nobody is taking less to go there.

They can't now bring someone else in on far more than the rest of them, that would cause all sorts of issues behind the scenes.

Motlop reportedly offer a year, they've double down and going the Geelong route.
