We've had a Premier and CHO of one state advise people not to get jabbed. Our own guru Vader called AZ, "muck". Jenny and KaneMcG, supposedly learned, spent quite some time telling people in earlier threads that there's no way a SAFE and effective vaccine could be rolled out in under 5 years. Unfortunately, people who were meant to, or should have known better gave the conspiracy theorising anti-vaxxers ahead start that they shouldn't have gotten. And that's igoring the amount of comments referencing having the benefit of the "human science experiment" happening prior to our vaccines being available.

Dumb people will make dumb decisions, lots of supposedly smart people added a turbo to their dumb motor. A CHO and Premier FFS!!!!
I assume your referring to the QLD premier and her CHO. But there comments weren't so much about not getting the jab it was about not getting the AZ jab. But I gotta agree I believe that the CHO stuffed that up big time.

I don't really understand this decision from North's point of view. If Adelaide brought in a mature aged midfielder in the early stage of a rebuild, I'd imagine most on here would be pretty livid.
It's a very bizarre decision.

I mean if you were Richmond or Essendon and you wanted to load up for a crack then sure.

Sorry, so you think it's ok that it's possible to provide context to a Premier and state CHO telling their constituents to not get vaccinated? Even if you do consider that reasonable, you must understand the damage this does to those on the margins in terms of getting them on side.

I think GWS will be the big winners here, I can see the Suns needing to do some damage control and PR and snare Pick 2 for Callaghan, having lost Greenwood.

Probably will have to pay overs to get it too.

All GWS really need to do is to say this is what the Crows have offered us, can you beat it or we are giving to the Crows?

"Coach Stuart Dew was out of phone range on a bushwalk when the Suns were shocked to learn they had become the target of North’s stunning free agency raid."

Oooooooooof.

Imagine getting back in phone range then having 500 missed calls only to learn Greenwood is gone

What I find harder to believe is Dew walking.

Like I posted before I can’t remember if he had a actual “Contract” but he certainly slam dunked a commitment
Yeah he had signed on..I checked.

Hugh Greenwood walks out on Perth Wildcats to pursue AFL career

"Unfortunately Hugh Greenwood's decision not to honour his contract poses a significant challenge for us. Whilst he leaves with our best wishes, it does require us to revise our recruiting strategy immediately," he said.
"We made numerous decisions based on his commitment to us, so we are disappointed to lose him.

"However, the Wildcats family has always dealt well with adversity and this occasion will be no different."
Greenwood was in the first month of a three-year contract with the Wildcats.

Greenwood's decision coukd be a double whammy

Not sure if GC would have traded Will Brodie if they knew they would be losing Greenwood

The Suns wouldn't have gone through the process unless they had Greenwood's word, and based on his tweet last week, they had it.

North have jumped in and offered him more, and he's taken it.

Overall, good on him for taking it - he's clearly playing for coin - but if a player had done the same to us we'd be livid.
Strange how Gold Coast don't seem upset at all.
