Would rather see him in the ruck (At VFL), least he would use his abilities and be able to burn other rucks as a link player. His a long way off but he needs another 2 years realistically to see if it will all click.

I’m not saying he is better than Balta but if you were to have him and Nash switch clubs then I bet you Nash would look / play a lot better than what he does for us. IMO if you were to insert Nash into the Richmond forward line he’d actually look quite good in their system. You could just imagine him crashing packs at the feet of Lynch and Riewoldt creating more havoc than what they already do. Balta on the other hand would likely struggle on / off like a lot of our other forwards have recently.

Sorry meant second ruck, I don't think any other position really suits with his lack of understanding. One position he should be tried more in is the defensive forward, tagging mcgovern or marking back type player.

Put nash with buddy roughy he still wouldn’t have an impact, just doesn’t understand the game and doesn’t seem like he wants it. For someone that’s fast and a pressure machine in the games his played I’ve hardly seen him give 100% chase, he just jogs and acts like he is doing something. Balta On the other hand just attacks the footy like a menace and uses his athleticism to his advantage.

None these players have different traits but no reason they couldn’t be all time great when they finished. We don’t really know there ceiling yet.

I've got no problem with people querying the club on Nash...wondering what the club see in him, wondering what he must be doing at training to get another year. There's nothing wrong with that.

It's only when people say the club made a mistake in not delisting him that their opinions need to be taken to task. That implies that one's judgement is actually of more merit than those who work with him every single day.
