Would rather see him in the ruck (At VFL), least he would use his abilities and be able to burn other rucks as a link player. His a long way off but he needs another 2 years realistically to see if it will all click.I’d try him on the wing. Would be a hard match up and it would take full advantage of his running power. His field kicking is solid too.
I’d be ok with ruck but I think that is not likely to be his first position on the field. Second ruck sure. But what would his first position be?Would rather see him in the ruck (At VFL), least he would use his abilities and be able to burn other rucks as a link player. I’m not saying he is better than Balta but if you were to have him and Nash switch clubs then I bet you Nash would look / play a lot better than what he does for us. IMO if you were to insert Nash into the Richmond forward line he’d actually look quite good in their system. You could just imagine him crashing packs at the feet of Lynch and Riewoldt creating more havoc than what they already do. Balta on the other hand would likely struggle on / off like a lot of our other forwards have recently.Noah Baltais what we hoped nash would turn into. Just hasn’t got it, wont make it at afl and should of been delisted.PLAYERCARDSTART21Noah Balta

Sorry meant second ruck, I don't think any other position really suits with his lack of understanding. One position he should be tried more in is the defensive forward, tagging mcgovern or marking back type player.I’d be ok with ruck but I think that is not likely to be his first position on the field. Second ruck sure. But what would his first position be?
Put nash with buddy roughy he still wouldn’t have an impact, just doesn’t understand the game and doesn’t seem like he wants it. For someone that’s fast and a pressure machine in the games his played I’ve hardly seen him give 100% chase, he just jogs and acts like he is doing something. Balta On the other hand just attacks the footy like a menace and uses his athleticism to his advantage.I’m not saying he is better than Balta but if you were to have him and Nash switch clubs then I bet you Nash would look / play a lot better than what he does for us. IMO if you were to insert Nash into the Richmond forward line he’d actually look quite good in their system. Out of interest which one have you earmarked as the Franko of the trio?

So a bloke who can’t kick, can’t mark, has no clue about running patterns and absolutely no clue about game awareness and along with Will Langford and Ben Stratton is the most diabolical set shot kick for goal the club has ever seen, would be handy at the Tiggers?I’m not saying he is better than Balta but if you were to have him and Nash switch clubs then I bet you Nash would look / play a lot better than what he does for us. Real nice bloke... apparently? So are you saying that the Tiggers could do with a bloke who can’t kick, can’t mark, has no clue about running patterns and absolutely no clue about game awareness and along with Will Langford and Ben Stratton is the most diabolical set shot kick for goal the club has ever seen?
Wow maybe the Box Hill Hawks can do a trade with the Tiggers.
Seriously though, I am perplexed as to how on gods green earth has Connor survived being delisted.
Why is it that because someone does not rate him, they become a hater?Good to see some things never change. The Nash haters are out and about.
HFC rates him.
T'is the season to spread hatred. Tra, la, la, laaa... la, la .. etc
Merry Xmas.
Why is it that because someone does not rate him, they become a hater?
I certainly have not one minuscule ounce of hate for Connor, in fact I would love him to prove me wrong and become a good AFL player.
It’s just I don’t rate his kicking, his marking, his footy smarts, or his running patterns or his absolute diabolical set shot kicking for goal.
There are plenty of people I hate in this world, but Connor certainly is not one of them.
So no need to count me in the “Haters”.
Pffft. What would they know?
I've got no problem with people querying the club on Nash...wondering what the club see in him, wondering what he must be doing at training to get another year. There's nothing wrong with that.Exactly. The opinion of our coaching staff vs Bigfooty posters? No contest really.
By personal I mean not attacking his character, I’m sure his a great bloke but he doesn’t impact games positively. I hope he proves me wrong and makes me eat my words, because I want this club to be great and if he can develop into a good player he’ll contribute to that.Hmmmm...

Maybe you can’t see the obvious, ever thought of that?Maybe you're just the negative type. Repeatedly so, when it comes to Nash.

Ok so give me some positives that you think Connor has in his game, happy to hear them.
Fill me with some positives.
