Personally I wouldn’t take either. Just Poulter. Others will appear no need to stress (or rush)
1. Next week's bubble rookies are absolutely trash aside from Williams who's nearly 200k and he'd have questionable JS anyway

2. I ain't going early on anyone. Josh Glenn/Isaac Cumming anyone? People getting burnt by going early on these Port kids for example.

It's double down this week for me

Need to dump Kosi and Gulden

He was quoted as saying at a Port function this he was back training and expected to play this week. SANFL seems prudent.

Jones is too good for the SANFL.

Bring him back straight into the Port side, my supercoach team needs him and that's all that matters. :moustache:

Finlay Macrae was solid in his return to VFL. 31 disposals was a match-high for the day. A mixture of different playing styles in the midfield made for a dynamic performance around the contest. Macrae’s ability to find the ball and feed it to outside runners, combined with his spread and run made for a fantastic performance.

Couldn't hit a target by foot. Fitness still a big concern. I'll be surprised to see him come back in this week, will play a couple in the VFL I reckon

Play him in the guts.

Play him in the guts.

It's so frustrating to see gun midfield draftees killing it in the position that they were drafted to play at state league level only to be expected to play "pressure forward" once promoted to senior level. Why not just play them in the guts for 50-55% TOG to allow them to develop their midfield craft against the best opposition instead of 70%+ TOG as a defensive forward and hold back their development?

Ladhams is a terrible tap ruckman.

But knowing Hinkley this what he will do.

But now is the perfect time to play Hayes at AFL level.

I fully expect Hayes to be the number one ruck for Port next season. Might as well play him now at the higher level.

Pete tore English a new one last year from what I remember and sure enough up against the dogs this weekend. I wouldn't rule out Ladhams. Most young rucks take a long time to develop ruck craft- that's Hayes' advantage there but Hayes does look a bit slow around the ground and lacklustre with ball in hand.
I'd go Hayes probably too but it's no way a foregone conclusion.

Have you seen Pistol Pete this year?

He has been deplorable at both AFL and SANFL level.

Cant take a mark to save himself and his tap work is abysmal.

Need to start getting games into Hayes.

Yeah he hasn't been great.
IMO Pete played the much better game on the weekend vs Crows SANFL side though.
People talk about Hayes as the second coming and I think we need to halt expectations there as he really does struggle to move around the ground.
Like I said I'd give Hayes the nod too as he deserves it but it's not clear cut "spud vs superstar" stuff.

Has Kosi run his race? BE of 60 but they've got North next so surely he makes it?
Careful with Kosi cos McKay might play on him after what happened in the corresponding preseason game. McKay’s a good lockdown defender and doesn’t usually give his direct opponent an inch. Kosi won’t see a lot of ball if that scenario eventuates. On the other hand, if Walker plays on Kosi, you can expect a bag and some more cash gen :moustache:

He was a mistake to bring in.

Half tempted to move him on.

Or keep Berry .

I feel Berry needs a 70 Or 80 to get he's mooing going.

I think, as COLL would ...Finlay is a good player, and I'm happy to hold till he is given another go

Berry maybe short of milk, but he's a "live" body every week

Because our coaches/match committee have NFI. They even played Rantall up forward FFS, can't wait to see them get the Ned Guy treatment the useless kents.
