The role for Will Gould has been set for the 2021 season, after discussions dating back to last year with Swans senior coach John Longmire & assistant coaches Gould is confirmed to be playing a role across half-back.
“He wanted me to play & I wanted to play a bit more up the field half-back line,”
Fitness was also a discussion point for Gould with Sydney coaching staff last season, he has improved his fitness with a strong cardio program this pre-season
“fitness was a big thing this year for me in pre-season.”
“I didn’t have a ball in my hand for most of the summer, I was just running laps around the oval”

The two SC relevant guys for Essendon are Harrison Jones and Archie Perkins.
Doubt we have much else to get excited about SC wise.
Keep an eye out for Lachlan Johnson & Tom Hird though as cheap cheap players for mid - late in the season.

This Radelaide rook is still not a bad price if we are struggling for defender rooks.
Had a couple of injury effected games that lowered his scores.
I owned him, had the E on him a few times, managed to get his 96SC points.
The kid had a bad run with concussion, should have a better run this year hopefully, looks the goods.

Either young or perez should get a shot in the North backline this year so there's another similar priced player with arguably better JS.

Another awkwardly priced rook, bench filler type.

Contrary to popular belief the best 22 really hasn't changed much and North doesn't 'need to play the kids'.

How could they not need to play the kids the team is terrible with senior players might as well see what the kids can do.

Which senior players are you talking about?
Remember club had 18 injured at one point in 2020 including major players in the side.
Any team without insane list depth would have looked terrible.

Reckon we have space for phillips and someone down back either a young or perez.
Depends on what Noble wants to do but I wouldn't be expecting the club to be playing 5-6 like some BF posters believe.
The best 22 is rather unchanged with the notable additions of stephenson and a likely perez or young down back.
I think Xerri will feature highly with Noble talking about playing 2 rucks in recent interviews (similar to Brisbane's setup).

Josh Walker & Aaron Hall are list cloggers they kept playing them but got rid a 60 goal a year goal kicker dosen't make sense

I agree hall is a clogger or at least hasn't shown enough.
Josh walker is serviceable as a 2nd tall target and a decent contested mark. Always goes hard for the ball which I appreciate.
You think North played hall and walker over Ben Brown each week? He was injured for the majority of the 2020 season.
Brown left for reasons.. And is on a lot less money than he was offered at North.

Sadly Comben is still dealing with a back fracture issue that kept him out of the 2020 seasons training and games.
He might return to training at some point soon if fixed but no way he plays rd 1.
