Agree with Murphy. He's going to need a huge JLT to even be considered at this point.
Bianco in front of him. Has wonderful DE and now has the frame to compete. Howe on the way back.
Disagree with Pendles to half-back. That's been said for years and has never happened, for good reason.
Probs won't happen but I'd give him a try as HFF, reckon he's got a bit of T Lynch Crows about him.

Kids got talent, and it's a backline that's hard to crack. Might be a good move.

Are you listening, Bucks?

How about Chugg? $102k D/F

"Keep an eye on Isaac Chugg. The recent Magpies draftee has turned heads at Collingwood since arriving and has impressed off half-back to put himself in the mix as a surprise early season debutant". - Callum Twomey

Chugg probably a better chance than Murphy. Doubtful for early rounds, but has looked good at training.
One to watch. Probably a good mid-season downgrade.

Ben Davis plays bugger all last year not one price rise...191k.
CD taking the piss here.

The Kent stuck up my bench all year.
Now 191k fuùuuu right off.

Has De Goey gone to the midfield yet?
Make it happen lover boi.

The funny thing about this is that De Goey was in the midfield at the beginning of last season and he put up rookie scores.

He scores better as a forward.

He finally got played where he belongs, destroyed Geelong with 5 goals, scored 151SC - and busted his finger between the third and the fourth.

I do think he'll be played in the middle and I expect him to do better there this time, but his scoring isn't dependent on it. It's almost the opposite

Collingwood need him forward in my opinion. They need avenues to goal.

I reckon he'll be 50/50 mid/fwd.

Will Kelly will play every game he's not injured at FF.

Mason Cox will have 3 or 4 days out.

Mihocek will continue to be the most under-rated forward in the comp.

Elliott will be a full-time forward.

One of the newbies, Macrae or McInnes or McCreery, will sashay past Thomas in the pecking order. Hopefully one of them does it to WHE as well.

Sidey will spend time at HFF.

I actually think we'll be fine

I don't recall Mason Cox ever having more than 1-2 days out in a season. :rainbow:

You're kidding yourself right? So you're relying on a 2nd year kpf, a tall American spud who's played about 2 good games. Elliot who is made of paper mache and some rookies. Mihocek is pretty good though, really straightens a team up.

You would fit in well on the Collingwood team board.

3rd year kpf. And Sidey half the time. And De Goey half the time. And yes

Whats your kpf depth looking like, because the fact that Cox can get a consistent game suggests that it's not much.

Cox has one of the best goal kicking conversion rates of all time. Above 70%, better than Lloyd. Our kpf depth is not good. Liam McMahon seems to be impressing folks so far, may have been a bargain. Our most recent marquee KPF turned out to be an AA CHB

They were talking about him on the Lions board yesterday sounds like "IF" he plays it would probably be on a wing so you wouldn't think he would be scoring very high out there.

Getting Darcy Cameron in suggests we know this. It's also well documented that we don't have the cash/salary cap space for a big name.
Wasting high draft picks on Treloar, Beams, and Stephenson (all gone) in recent years hasn't helped.
Cox does his role. Checkers can't do it alone, and Grundy needs an occasional chop-out.

McMahon kicked 4 goals in the intra-club match sim. A promising type for sure.

In legend, he shall be known as 'The Ruiner of Dynasties'

Rance still has nightmares.
