I think this is what we should do
In:
- Dawson (trade)
- Callan Ward (free agent- 31 years old but adds to the midfield and played every game this year, with 15 goals as a mid)
- Dunstan (free agent- 26 years old, not a great player but will add to the mix)
- Pick 19 from Gold Coast

The Eagles have also informed mid-season recruit Will Collins he won’t be offered a new contract as part of their second round of list changes.
The trio join premiership trio Mark Hutchings, Nathan Vardy and Daniel Venables, as well as midfielder Brendon Ah Chee in vacating the list, taking the total number of changes so far to seven.

I read the first was virtual with Dawson management, this would be the in person tour and meet and greet.

Wouldn't be against Ward on a 2 year deal - with a trigger for a 3rd based on form and fitness.
Pass on Dunstan tbh.
