Bit dull in here dont know if anyone has brought it up but apparently DGB has started putting on some size this off season with alot of protein weight training etc I know it seeems a few have soured on him but I am quite more relaxed it takes time to develop and if the rumours are true it will be elite seeing him throw his weight around

That said, just had a look at the post and geez that banded football exercise they're doing is a bit wanky.
not quite as big here! the illusion of bicep curls and having monstrous arms haha. he is relatively tall though, so he's definitely tacked on some weight

Always thought core strength was more important than biceps and beach weights...
Having bigger arms can serve a few purposes, I'd think mainly from a contest point of view. When it comes to trying to wrestle yourself free, or being harder to tackle, having bigger and stronger arms is an advantage. Greater surface area means more difficulty for opposition players trying to grab you, as well as improved strength in fighting free of tackles and keeping possession of the ball.

Another thing to keep in mind is that your body will always be limited by its weakest link, even if you have immense core strength. Bicep curls wouldn't be a priority lift, but they would do them as accessories and they look good for the 'gram.

Hopefully Day one of pre-season he’s training as a midfielder.
100% Day is the key to unlock the midfield along with Worpel in my eyes. A Very important pre season, he is still yet to have a fully uninterrupted year.

I belive we have the pieces in play to build a contending team we don't need to keep bottoming out to get 5 or 6 more top end talents like every media expert suggest. Two - three would be very nice we need to continue to get games into this group. It might take this group 12 months or it could be 36 months but the dynamic and desire is there.

Nuke,Moore,Ward,Day,Worpel,Amon,
Finn,C-mac,Nash,Wingard*

Nuke,Ward,Day all could be A graders in the same side in there prime if things go to plan (50-100 game mark) we will have a good idea if it's possible.
