And his value was so, so underestimated. He, Cyril and an emerging Bruester were stunning that will be very, very hard to replicate.I've never seen someone so short a stocky jump as high as he did. he was like an Italian grasshopper
You get toilet paper?Name me any other employer that would go to such lengths to keep an employee happy?
I'm lucky if my employer gets us 3 ply instead of 1 ply toliet paper for the work loos
Thing is though, we don't necessarily need to replicate that group. And his value was so, so underestimated. He, Cyril and an emerging Bruester were stunning that will be very, very hard to replicate.
You're allowed to go to the toilet?
And taken with pick 66 ..When Poppy flew for a mark I called out "The Flying Dwarf". 196 games, 185 goals and 3 premierships and one of the all time great pressure forwards.
Best of all Poppy was a genuinely great person often stopping for a chat after training and at Box Hill. A testament to his character is his signing on to play with his junior club Hope Valley next year. I'm hoping to watch Poppy play in the Adelaide Footy League when I drive to SA for the Hawks game in Gather Round.
Shovel? We had…..Luxury. Where I worked, we didn't have toilets. We had a patch of dirt and a shovel.
bare hands? Waiting for limbless to pipe in nextShovel? We had…..
And was still playing for Norwood reserves at the age of 20 while working as a brickies labourer. And taken with pick 66 ..
I thought he was a plumber, not a brickie? And was still playing for Norwood reserves at the age of 20 while working as a brickies labourer.
Definitely got the most out of himself

Not saying we do, but we are desperate for xfactor. Big, tall, quick, small, unpredictable, hard, competitive, pressure/tackling machine. Don’t care the mix, we just need to find it.Thing is though, we don't necessarily need to replicate that group.
We can make a different forward line with potency with different types as the game has changed a bit now with how quickly the ball comes in and how directly it moves. Nimble marking types might be the way to go.
Some restoration work has been undertaken on the ground so it's obvious training will be offsite for a couple of weeks. Sadly it is unlikely there will be any training reports.
You mean the Bulleen Trinity grounds next to Marcellin says poster who may or may not have gone to Trinity Grammar?Off to Trinity Grammar as historically usual for us when Waverley was unavailable or we wanted a quieter off-site HH?
EDIT: actually the NE Link works might have Trinity out of action too, though I haven't been up Bulleen rd in awhile
I did the same thing.. but I told my boss before receiving the call I'd been drafted.I thought he was a plumber, not a brickie?
I recall reading that he contacted his boss following being drafted, to check whether he still had to come into work the next day!
Not sure if that actually occurred, but it's a good story.
How good are you at holding your breath?I’m just here for someone to tell me Wingard is going to get mid minutes now some of the other lads are gone.
His weighted kick to Gunston in the 3rd quarter of the 2015 GF to essentially end the game lives in my memory as one of the all time great moments. And was still playing for Norwood reserves at the age of 20 while working as a brickies labourer.

All right, I'll go back and watch the game again........His weighted kick to Gunston in the 3rd quarter of the 2015 GF to essentially end the game lives in my memory as one of the all time great moments.
