I won’t really answer your question, but I think Connor McDonald will be a very, very, very important player in 2023 and beyond. It is my opinion, he has elite AFL footballer stamped all over him.Sorry to intrude. Asking for fantasy purposes, but is there a chance CMac gets used a lot in the middle? Seen his junior stuff, he has no business on a wing or HF, he's a natural inside mid. Reads it at stoppage really well, wins clearances, tackles and pressures hard, runs all day. Got a handful of CBAs for you guys and kept getting his hands on it in 2022.
With O'merea and Mitchell gone someone has to come into the midfield. I'd be very surprised if C-Mac wasn't given some significant midfield time through the season, whether that's early in the season or later is the question.Sorry to intrude. He’s involved in more stoppage drills this year from what I have seen and is training with the mids in some line drills, so I’d expect him in the midfield rotations.Sorry to intrude. Love this!!The fact that Tyler signed a one year contract extension indicates he is invested in the club and he is highly regarded by the club. I understand the club has arranged for Tyler to live in a house in very close proximity to Waverley Park so he can best support his partner looking after their twins. Further it has been proposed that his partner's mother will move to Melbourne to live with the family. The club is supporting Tyler to give him the best opportunity to fulfil his potential playing in the AFL.
Impossible question at this stage. We have an abundance of mids, mostly very or pretty inexperienced. Impossible to predict who will get serious minutes through the rotations. As others have indicated, we are as impressed with CMac as you were when he was a junior. He seems pretty versatile - contributed well as a forward in 2022, earning an impressive 20 games.Sorry to intrude. I would say that most players don't say much when they kick.Good points and on his kicking his laconic but deadly kicking for goal reminds me very much of watching Mark Williams. Williams 2.0 without the injuries I will have some of that!
From my uneducated opinion, I think he was too small last year to play inside mid. He’ll get some more midfield minutes as his body develops.Sorry to intrude. Second year players aren't usually worth picking in Fantasy. They're generally overpriced for what they can produce, unless it's someone like Walsh.Sorry to intrude. The thing about fantasy is that you never win playing the averages. The people who win the overall / weekly prizes typically have moneyball pick ups. You might win your workplace league doing it but never anything worthwhile.Second year players aren't usually worth picking in Fantasy. ..bragging rights amongst my dickhead mates is extremely worthwhile I promise you!The thing about fantasy is that you never win playing the averages. Noted and corrected laconically…I would say that most players don't say much when they kick.
You have a choice here. You can be like BT and use laconic incorrectly or be like Dermott and use lackadaisical which is the correct term.
Jared Brennan is the one player who always springs to mind as a player who picked and chose when he wanted to play well. All the talent in the world, couldn't give a stuff.

Put it this way, Sam Mitchell knows more than your mates, so tell them to STFU.Hi guys
I am getting some stick from a couple of mates about Sam's suggestion that most of the 'premiership planks' are already on the list. What are thoughts about who we can comfortably count as locks as we build this good young list?
Longest ever period for a new account to make an initial post.Hi guys

Would hope Stephens will be one by season's end… or else *shiversLongest ever period for a new account to make an initial post.
I'd think Day, Ward, MacDonald, Reeves, Meek, Lewis, Sicily, Amon, Maginness, CJ, Scrimshaw, Moore, DGB, Hardwick, Nash would have to be in Sam's thoughts...and that was pre-draft too.
Yeah, could've added him. Only reason I added Meek and not Stephens is that I think Sam's courting of Meek has been in play for a couple of years.Would hope Stephens will be one by season's end… or else *shivers
Remind them that not all 23 players that get the medal are stars in fact very few. Sigh…remind them of Jason Castagna.Hi guys

That is a good list and around the mark. My mates will scoff at it and say they haven't heard of half of those. I look forward to the dawning of their enlightenment.Yeah, could've added him.
