Franchise >>>> FrenchieIf it's a predictive text error, it's a good one.
Whoever it is, it should become his Bigfooty nickname...
EDIT: So, Cam McKenzie is now "Franchise"
Is that as in....Franchise >>>> Frenchie
So much so that I wouldn't mind it as the alternate strip.Have to say, the training kit looks great this year.
It can get pretty tense when they don't want to get out of the tub (he said from bitter experience).I had a bigger dust up with my 5yr old tonight at bath time, to be honest.
I saw a pic of Blanck from some kind of draft review about 3 years ago I think and he was an absolute stick back then, 80kgs dripping wet I reckon.View attachment 1598871
Blanck looks to have one of the best/most assertive builds in the league.
His athleticism and size is going tk be special I feel

Richie Vandenberg laughs at this....Real Captain material ….
Not necessarily true regarding Lynch and his defensively capabilities. He is reasonably agile for his size. BigBoy is the same height but Max has him for agility and speed. The problem is we don't know if he can be a great contested mark and get around the ground like BigBoy did. Which made up for his average height for a ruck. Lynch to me would be a decent pinch hit key forward and we may use him in the role Round 1. No rucking just play as a main target up forward. Doesn't need to be a world beater just create ground balls for the smalls and if he can get some goals a bonus. Looks like the club is preferencing Jeka however so Lynch looks to be lining up at BH at this stage.Reeves and Meek are clearly the 2 we'll run with, injury permitting.
It's whether Sam wants to run with Lynch as a key fwd. Some say he won't run with 3 rucks. Problem we'll have is when the ball hits the deck, he'll offer nothing defensively.
Will be an interesting 7 weeks.
And he hates himself when he makes a mistake. Wish Jeka had half of his intent.I saw a pic of Blanck from some kind of draft review about 3 years ago I think and he was an absolute stick back then, 80kgs dripping wet I reckon.
Shows the dedication of James that he has totally transformed his body into the unit we see today. I feel like this kid will eke out every ounce of ability he can from himself.
If we could get one or two quality small forwards, hard and tenacious, from this crop, I would be very pleased.Butler is the guy who continues to surprise me to the upside.
I thought we were getting a flighty half-forward flanker, but I am increasingly seeing signs that he could become an all-round midfielder with polish and grunt (for his size), and also be very damaging in the forward half.
Butler, Brockman, O'Sullivan, Bennett are a good bunch of prospects for the small forward/ high HF roles.

He has to be a unit. He has Hawkins, McKay, Lynch etc to deal with on a weekly basis. We need him to be that monster who holds his own. 6ft 6 100 plus kg FB we haven't had since Lake.I saw a pic of Blanck from some kind of draft review about 3 years ago I think and he was an absolute stick back then, 80kgs dripping wet I reckon.

From CJ “hard and physical footy”, just what I wanted to hear, the unsociable hawks are coming back

Somebody who's very confident with themselves is CJ. I think he still is a bit raw when it comes to football knowledge and how to understand the messaging but he compensates that with delivering the messaging well if that makes sense. Jai is certainly someone you can tell lives and breathes footy. Has leadership written all over him. Will be doing alot of press conferences over the years as he will become one of the faces of the club which is why we're getting in early to get him a taste of it.Watched the video with CJ and Jai, CJ comes across as a strong media performer.
Perhaps a future career in the media post football beckons.
Good guy for press conferences in the vein of Mitchell and Hodge. Yes implying future captain material.
