You'd think norf will go to the draft with 2 and 3....not a great look or business to trade out the first pick then double down and trade down again
12 now belongs to the Weagles.I think we are going to get offered a trade for 10 for at least 2 picks between 12 and 19 from either Sydney or GWS, if Humphrey is on the board
GWS or Sydney will offer if they want Humphrey. Carlton need to spruik our interest in Humphrey. regardless of our true intent, to create the leverage required to force GWS or Sydney to offer.
I watched Darymple express his willingness to draft Humphrey at 14, although Humphrey was at the interview table
GWS may offer a trade involving 12, 18 and 19.
Whatever Carlton does it needs to ensure it is still in a position to snare one of Hollands, Phillipou with it is first pick - they fill a major hole in our list, maybe Hewett but I am not as convinced of his fit to the extent of the other 2. We need to think carefully before we give up the chance to draft one of those players by losing pick 10
If we took the pick swap and somehow managed to draft Hollands/Philipou, Waddle, Hayes - we are bringing in the elite transition players that can make us a contender.
North could go for Wardlaw and Tsatsas. Good friends from Oakleigh Charges which could set up their midfield for a decade. And just like that the pipe dream for Sheezel is probably done for.
Only chance is either trading for Norths pick 3 or by some miracle him dropping to 5-6 past the Dons. Can't see either happening so that's likely that.
North already have Sheezel. His name is Zurhaar. Can almost lock in the top 3
Cadman
Wardlaw
Sheezel

Also, I think it's good news for Brisbane, as I reckon GWS won't bid on Ashcroft. So...Can almost lock in the top 3

1. GWS Cadman
2. Bris Ashcroft (match)
3. NM Wardlaw
4. NM Sheezel
5. Ess Tsatas
6. GC ?
Suns have a number of options at this point. But Clark might not be a priority for them, so perhaps might entertain a 5 + Bowes trade with Geelong instead of 7, if Geelong were to make it attractive, though they don't have a lot to play with.
That is a big IF, biggest I've seen in here.If * were smart, they should take Ginbey or McKenzie for their list
If they're smart they take Tsatsas. They will have 2 of them then. Sheezel also spends time in the middle
If they're smart they take Tsatsas.
LDU
Simpkin
McDonald
Powell
Phillips
Wardlaw
Tsatsas
All of a sudden they've just built elite midfield depth. What they should be doing is getting Weidman from Melb. Would take the pressure of Zurhaar up forward. Could see him getting 50+ goals.
Tsatas was injured a large chunk of the season, l still see him in the top 5I don't rate Tsatsas that high
Not where they get drafted, but long term rankings, top 10 only for now
Clark
Wardlaw
Phillipou
Sheezel
Cadman
Ashcroft
Busslinger
McKenzie
Tsatas
Hayes
You definitely know more than me but I just don’t see it with hayes especially after being unsuccessfully able to finish a 2k time trial. Even if he pushed himself beyond compare it’s not long enough of a distance for it to be as badly as he was. He’s very skinny too and will take a while to put on size.I don't rate Tsatsas that high

In all of this tho I’ve barely watched him and don’t have much idea about him other than that
So you'd hold #10 (#11) hoping for Phillipou, and then try to trade back if he goes?I don't rate Tsatsas that high

Anyone else not able to finish? I very much doubt it doesn't affect his draft range..Was a massive day of testing, and everyone has a bad day at times
Won't effect where he is taken or the player he will become
6 min 25 seconds. Very very good time. How did Phillipous endurance test ? Surely if ok he is the one for us due to kicking , size and ability to kick goals ?
Surely we look at closely6 min 25 seconds. Very very good time.
