These articles and by extension the AFLs reporting on draftees are turd, why can you only see the top 3 of a few tests? Trying to find stats on the players as well is too difficult.
What speed by Allen, not for anyone but a guy of his size is great, so I then want to see where he places in agility and 2km but no, can’t find that.
It should be easy to find all this data.
Where does Allen’s game translate at AFL level?
I'm super confident that we will trade into this draft. Either up, or into.
We have hit the Go button and the more we dally, the less players we will have READY for our flag push which is starting NOW. I think we will trade forward for the next 2 years.
I can absolutely see us trading our future 1st to get up the order from Pick 10. Or if we can't achieve that(which is very difficult to get done), then trading it for another 1st this year(again, if possible).
Get the best quality we can, in NOW. The Sheezal rumour from Forty3 makes all the sense in the world. IF we can do it. 10 and future 1st in a heartbeat. He is the type/quality we need who can impact almost immediately. That Premiership class medium forward. Missing link for OUR team.
WA teen breaks 14-year-old record at Draft Combine
Darcy Jones and Ed Allan among the players to impress on the final day of the 2022 AFL Draft Combinewww.afl.com.au
We get an elite prospect who suits what we need, and is good enough and advanced enough, to get into THIS team very quickly and make a difference.
I would take that opportunity, if we can engineer it.
Player(Sheezel) aside, i reckon we are list primed to bring ourselves a draft or 2 forward. There is even the consideration that bringing ourselves forward 2 years in a row "may" coincide with not wanting a 1st rder in 2 years time when Camporeale's kid is apparently a chance to be one for us as F/S.
I just think it is a very sound strategy for us the next 2 years to trade forward imo, and Sheezel seems an ideal player for our team to do it for.
I think we've got 3 potential Senior Coaches on our panel for the next year or 2, Voss, Hansen and Power. Bring drafts forward and develop now.
I definately would do that .. our 10 and future first for Sheetal is a no brainer .. who I rate as the stand out in this draft gonna be a premium A grader . We will definately finish in the top 6 next year so that's basically pick 10 and pick 14 for a pick 2 or 3 ..I'm super confident that we will trade into this draft. Either up, or into.

Van Es tested really well but how is he at football?

Because Lemmey reminds me of a Jack Watts type whereas we might just need patience with Tom Scully. Why?
I’m with you on this except I haven’t seen the best of Sheezel. He had a hip injury towards the end of the year.I'm super confident that we will trade into this draft. Either up, or into.

Just can't see how we would get ourselves high enough for Sheezel. Our pick 11 this year + a future first imo would not be enough to get pick 3-4 this year.I guess this theory is all dependant on the projection of Sheezel. No guarantees of course BUT
Right now I can see Walsh, Cerra and Maybe TDk in our list under the Weiters year as having “top 50 in afl” potential.
Need to keep bringing that in at each opportunity. If Sheezel has a good chance to be a top 50 player then I say take it. It’s very difficult to get those chances with picks beyond 10. Please don’t point out the outliers here. It’s a probability game.
Our first pick will be 18 next year anyway. Get it done AustinWould trade a future 2nd, for an early 2nd in this year's draft, rather than trading 2 1sts to get into pick 4 or 5 this year
Sheezel recently spent some time with St Kilda and said of his time at the Saints “I wish I could just stay”.
I can't work out if that makes him the most charitable or the dumbest draftee in the pool
I depends what the club consider a weak draft. Sheezel they may see as a top 3 pick any year but our pick 10 as equal to a pick 20 most years.Last year we traded pick 8 and 46 for Adam Cerra, I thought it was slight overs, lots thought it was overs, Cerra had over 50 games of AFL experience and a top 3 B&F finish.
This year it looks like the Dogs will trade Dunkley for 2 1st rounders, neither in the top 10, Dunkley has played over 100 games, is a premiership player and a B&F winner.
Then there is people here who want to trade our pick 10 and F1 (realistically 15) for a kid who hasnt played a game and is ranked about 4th in a supposed weak draft.
