He's named at CHF after McVeigh said they'd consider moving him fwd

Was enough for me to bypass him and just go safety with Parker instead. He will earn $$ either way but his scores could be an issue

He was named at CHF last week too and scored 160 deep in defence the whole game, so I’m putting a line through where he’s named.

I think kozi ’s assessment of their structure is right… Riccardi, Hogan, Flynn/Preuss will be the three forward talls. Surely there’s no way they play a fourth in Himmelburg down there.

MSD was pretty bleak. Was waiting for the next Jai Newcombe to come along.. now doing everything I can to get that last rook up.

I was lucky enough to get Skinner to Wehr, before it cost too much - but I'm struggling for cash generation on the bench.

In theory, at best - I have 550K (before this week) to get Daicos, Martin and Peatling to premiums. I might be able to get two up - but then I need more cash generation to get the last one up.

Losing so much cash on Steele etc - early in the year hasn't helped matters...

Named him there last week and still played him back. That and 3 tall forwards aside from him picked leans me towards him still play in defence. Who knows though.

Yeah it's hard to say. I had a look at their team sheet and I don't see room for up forward especially with Flynn having to play forward

Only thing I’m worried about there is Hogan getting injured and/or hitting the gear again

I think Himmelberg will play down back. Just thinking I can save a trade going to Whit now instead of next week. His cash will be great but not sure I need it when im already running Peatling and still have SDK, Hayes, Jamo and Wehr on my bench with cash.

When I do my "final" rookie upgrade next week with SDK etc I'll want to move on from Rozee, Brodie etc afterwards.

I'll still have McComb (400k), Wehr (will be 350-400k at this point), Jamo (350k+), (Mead 320k+) all ready to go for luxury upgrades. And maybe Mass, Owens and whoever after that. I wouldn't say my team/cash gen has been great either lol

I held Skinner for ages and still have Hollands - which means I've hamstrung myself a little in terms of cash generation from rookies, plus the usual issues of injuries and others - so I've missed a few good options to generate cash.

Steele may get within $200k of Daicos upon return.
Martin could get to a Duncan for roughly $100k
Peatling I think gets to $600k and then you could be looking at a Hall/Salem

I did have Mystery Player X in mind for Daicos this week - but Smith, Gawn and 27 other issues sort of stopped that....

Those with a cheap Steele in their future trade-in plans, make sure you’ve got a decent plan B.

How many times have we seen players returning from shoulders taking forever to start tackling again… Given Steele relies heavily on those to score, I’d be hesitant basing my plans around him.

Definitely. Wrote the other day need to see him tackle first before grabbing him. Fingers crossed. There will be other options anyway

Another cheapie will be Parish once he's back and firing. Will monitor both of them for luxury upgrade spots of Petrecca and Mitchell. Shouldn't need much cash to get there.

I don’t think I’ve seen the Bombers run a defensive anything in recent seasons, I reckon he can go huge tonight. Tempted to pay the extra cash and bring him in instead of Whitfield to be honest.

That fact alone should talk you out of VCing him. In fact you should probably consider trading him out altogether

I still can’t haha this.

Let me know if you bring him in. Might tweet Warney for a 4th trade if you do. They let us have 4 in an emergency last year and this feels like an emergency.
