Yep if I still want Laird this week will need to go Preuss > Jackson just to get Butters up to anyone decent.

Can’t see myself recovering from this latest Preuss debacle. Season was already on life support with just about every trade in recent memory being forced. Getting Preuss back for Gawn only for this to happen is going to be the one that broke the camels back.

Done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve this. Been super diligent and disciplined in my trading. Even so far as doing everything possible, against all odds, to have 0 rooks on field by next week, which is what lead to getting Preuss + coin leftover to upgrade last rook next week instead of English.

Try doing the right things and just cop it brutally in increasingly more twisted ways. In the fetal position right now which is where I’ll probably remain until next year.

I'm in the same boat mate, have ridden the bumps through the byes and was eyeing off 17 decent scores this week and then no rooks on ground next week.

Then copping Butters, Preuss and Teakle all with first half injuries in one day is just too brutal.

You'd be rewarded for the most basic play of buying English at full whack, (who then gets kissed with both his opposing ruckmen out injured) and holding Daicos which has screwed me.

You have to back in the rookies off the ground/underpriced premos strategy as 9/10 times it pays off, this year is just ********

What’s funny is in the past I’ve rolled the dice going up to all ubers with a saviour rook still on field and it’s worked. Not the go this year then this happens to f up trying to going the other way. Absolutely damned if you do, damned if you don’t this season.

Terrible round for me ....having (forced) to carry Parish .....paper thin bench .....losing Butters, having SDK, and putting the (VC) on Jelly

I'm glad I have so few left to play, just so i know that there's no one else that can potentially be injured in my side this round. It's a relief to have everyone back in the shed.

WCE actually played probably the best game of the season .....they're improving

This round has completely wrecked me. I was already limited on players then I get shit like Gawn and Marchbank injuries. Then I stupidly trade out Greg Clark thinking he is dropped, but then all of a sudden he is playing.

Had 18 starters, including a bunch of spuds that I should have traded and guys like butters.

1170 with touk C and Laird left. So I’m hoping for 1500??

R12: Bring in Hately due to no rookie downgrade options preventing going up to a premo
R13: Reversed a K. Coleman -> Sinclair trade 5 mins pre bounce to go J. Anderson -> Kelly. Owens scores 11, realise I'm in big trouble, so take the risk of being a touch short the next week and trade out Hately for Kelly instead to get Anderson's score. C on Kelly instead of Oliver, Kelly scores 95 then 73.
R14: Preuss and Butters both go down, so the only way I can upgrade them to premos is to change my Brodie -> Laird trade to Brodie -> Hately.
