Can you trade one of your bench rookies to a midfield rookie and move NoD or Daicos back to defence maybe?
Then use any cash you have to upgrade elsewhere. Or double down? Or is that not feasible?

I’ve got NoD and Daicos on the field in the backline haha, that’s how well my side is going. Need another def rookie to pop up and I can potentially go Skinner (yes I’ve still got him) to a def fool and loop SDK and the new player. Still a massive risk and a good chance I’m getting a 30 from them now
matter what. Seems easier to trade witho to short who will be the number 1 defender

Can you do 1 up 1 down with the up being a defender (say Short but not really Short because I don't want you to ruin him) and put Witho in utility for a week? Assuming you have a better rook elsewhere to field than SDK.
Next week you can either move Daicos to mids or upgrade him to slot Witho in.

After a little bit of playing around im currently at JHF to Cameron, Skinner (finally) to McComb/Corral via Rioli and Martin DPP. Not sure which one yet.. will have to be on the field this week until Witho comes back and I can fix a few things up, that’s better than having SDK on the field. Moving Skinner on feels good

Skinner is the 2022 version of H Sharp for me. He'll still be there in Round 23, as I'm trying to sort out another spot fire....
FYI Rumour from the Carlton Board - Hewett will be back and at full fitness.

Depends who you have.
I’d be looking at R13/14 bye mids: Miller (my main target this week), Mills (I missed him 2 weeks ago when I got Heeney instead, not going there now), Laird, Oliver, Neale (I have all 3).
And Bray, but I think the above are better options because they’re cheaper.
My other mids are Steele, Touk, BSmith, Crae and Crippa.
Thinking of just getting Mills as I'm not overly concerned about bye rounds this year either.

Holding Skinner and Hough is infuriating
Eagles have had some early games this week so Hough is useless even as a loop dud. Now this week eagles play late in the week and the campaigner might actually get a game with eagles covid outs. Skinner again first game this week makes him useless.
Can't justify trades on these guys when I still have Rachele who is cooked now. JHF also needs to go this week and Ward the week after
