its why we are interested in D'Ambrossio, he is playing against the Swans Friday afternoon if you want a look at him
Didn’t get much of a look did we!!

We have Rankin in the 2s coming on well enough. I liked Ling but he had rotten luck with his body up here. He has been playing well according to Geelong folk and they may be interested in him
He had some good moments on Friday

Brainless twerp Barret writes an article wondering who is Carlton's most important player is; lists 4 guys that have been there the last 4 years when they've been mostly shite. Doesn't list Hewett who is having a monster year, and whose arrival coincided with them being MUCH improved.

Geez I wish we were playing Melbourne this week instead of next. They are two games and nearly 20% (so basically three games) clear of the next-placed team. They'll probably never take it easier than they will this week. Watch them lose for the first time in ******* yonkers, then come out breathing fire next week and bring Langdon & McDonald back against us.
good call.

And you don't think Voss's arrival has had anything to do with their improvement?

The way many on here go on about him you'd think he was Goodes, GAJ and Judd rolled into one - sorry but he isn't. He's a good footballer, having a good year playing for a coach that is getting the very best out of him. Good luck to him.

Yeah not really sure on the hype about Hewett. He's a serviceable mid, but he's not showing anything that he didn't show when given a pure mid role up here. He's not the reason for Carlton's improvement in the slightest.

Concussion
Prominent player agent and concussion campaigner Peter Jess has taken a significant step by having WorkSafe’s ongoing investigation reviewed by a higher office.
...
WorkSafe enforcement legal director Dmitry Rozkin confirmed the regulator would refer the investigation to the Director of Public Prosecutions Kerri Judd QC on Wednesday. Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, an investigation that has been ongoing for nine months without any “proceedings” can be referred to the public prosecution service.
...
Jess has been fighting through Freedom of Information to force WorkSafe, which began its AFL investigation in November 2019, to release three reports, two conducted by hired investigators Dr Andrew Gardner and Dr Andrew McIntosh. He does not expect the regulator to take any action before Wednesday.

Also concussion in AFl and that research had not included players who had left the game

Hewitt sits 4th in line behind Cripps, Walsh, Cerra!
He is basically playing as free as he ever has because the focus goes onto the others before he gets it.
That’s my opinion.

How disappointing & entitled are the senior West Coke Eagles players?
100 point loss by a team with 8 p’ship players on the field.

I’m up in Gold Coast ATM & saw Nik Nat up here.

Ha. I assume NicNat looked fat as a fool? He has stuffed his career by stuffing his mouth. Could have been one of the great ruckmen of all time.

I'd say 5th behind Kennedy too.

Hewett has been the 2nd best, arguably the best Carlton mid this year. IMO Hewett is also having a better year than Heeney.

Very strange comparison when they play completely different roles.

To say Hewett is the 2nd best Carlton mid is to do a massive disservice to Cripps, Walsh and Cerra who have all had fantastic seasons. Think there's a few with red and white glasses on.

Even in their different roles, hewett has produced more in that role than heeney and it's had a greater impact on the team.

I never said cripps, walsh or cerra were having poor season. Hewett has been arguably better than all 3 of them who have also been great. That has nothing to do with Red and White glasses.

I didn't suggest you did, but they are all having better seasons than Hewett.
