I thought I’d have a look at his article to see if that was what would happen and I wasn’t disappointed.Peak Barrett in his "sliding doors" after spending the best part of half a decade questioning Mitchell and his impact he's suddenly a brilliant player and Collingwood are masters of the trade period.

And of course we are heartless monsters who are tanking...Peak Barrett in his "sliding doors" after spending the best part of half a decade questioning Mitchell and his impact he's suddenly a brilliant player and Collingwood are masters of the trade period.
Does anyone have the print from Herald Sun article? - "Clarkson mistakes which left Mitchell with mess to clean up"
Came in to say exactly this. He's a now brilliant clearance player (which is why our centre clearance rates were so high these last few seasons). And despite every single journo tipping us to finish last this season, if we do it now we're tanking (and yet still certainties to finish last).Peak Barrett in his "sliding doors" after spending the best part of half a decade questioning Mitchell and his impact he's suddenly a brilliant player and Collingwood are masters of the trade period.
Interestingly or not, my youtube 'recommendations' sometimes throw up some old clips...and this one just came up from 2020.
Melbourne media piled onto him his entire time with us, then when he leaves they love him.Although he never reached his younger potential, I'd say the best person and leader at the club.
Drove the standards and all the younger players looked up to him. Just a great role model, conducted himself magnificently. Respected by all.
He became the man he is today with us.
Who's the most likely to breakout of the following players?
Nash
Day
Bramble
DGB
Maginness
Brockman
Morris
Jeka
Seamus
Saunders
Stephens
Blanck is already looking like he belongs at AFL level...at full back.Does anyone think Ramsden could be molded into a monster fullback?
Hopefully we can swap them to Brisbane for pick 35.Hoping we can bundle 48,50,52, abd 65 into something meaningful.

Needs to get a bit more penetration with his kicks I reckon, some of them were a bit cute to work for our setup I think. But yeah, looks quick-thinking and creative. In my uneducated opinion I've bolded who I think. Stephens' Geelong highlights are really impressive.
That's two in 63 years.Collingwood win 2 out of every 3 trade periods and have an amazing solitary flag in the last 32 years to show for it!
That's two in 63 years.
Only one more than St Kilda.
Just to put things in perspective.
Figures don't lie.Yes but likely 35 grand finals lost in that time as well.
Throw in Sydney Stack there as well, I'd love for us to take a punt on his talent. Are Mitchell.S and Saunders still uncontracted, i think 1 will stay and 1 will go.
So far the only delisted players id like us to consider is Stocker * Blues, Poulter *Pies, Smith *lions.
Talented he may be. But do we need the off-field angst that may also come with him?Throw in Sydney Stack there as well, I'd love for us to take a punt on his talent.
Thought he spoke really well tbh. Kane wanted to smash the clubs approach with every question and he had an appropriate response for each.I don't think Rob's very good at this, just let Sam take the airwaves from here on.
Apparently Jaeger is fine, Yea after been told he can GO by the senior coach, and after he swiped the tears.

You take DFA punts on talent, it's low risk and a new environment could do wonders. Worst case, he doesn't make it and we don't renew his contract. If you're bringing DFAs in, you're backing your development team and club culture, which it seems like Sam does.
