C'mon Kiama Chris, surely you remember A Stretcher? It was only was only 5 or 6 years ago and was a running joke for years!
2016, 2 or 3 mins before the final siren, game against the Lions, it's close and they're coming for us, Callum Sinclair goes down, A Stretcher comes out hangs around for a few minutes while we catch our breathe, and then up pops Callum and walks of the field, A stretcher mopes off dejectedly... and we defend valiantly and win.
Now whether this is how it went down or not, most of Big Footy saw it that way! Me, I saw the umpiring finally going our way...
Media had a field day... I'm pretty sure he (A Stretcher) had a spot sataris's signature for a few seasons, and several threads were devoted to him!

So disappointed for Mills hope he can get past the issue. Basically became our best mid then struck down. Big reason for our improvement last year.

I'm calling bull. Why would you appoint Callum as a co-captain knowing he would be struggling/restricted with an achilles? Makes no sense to me whatsoever.

They might have planned the leadership handover last year. So at the time might not have known he could miss the start of the season.
Though if they wanted him to be a long term captain of the club. They might have been happy to appoint him anyway.
