Yep. Get him in there. Play him and if he settles well then when Aliir is back it can be Skinner, Aliir and whoever's in best form of Clurey, McKenzie and Jonas (and **** it if that means our captain isn't playing AFL). Time to take this as an opportunity to finally move away from our too short backline.

Nothing against McKenzie but I really hope Skinner shines with Aliir out and pushes out McKenzie when Aliir comes back.

Picking up Skinner now looks like sound judgement. Hope he goes really well.
And trialing marshall as a incognito defender on andrews.
Kept him to 11 touches and 5 marks.
opposed to 11 and 10 when dixon was on him.

Injury Report: Aliir has surgery on syndesmosis injury
All-Australian defender Aliir Aliir is set to miss several games after having surgery on a syndesmosis injury suffered in Round 1.
Miles Bergman has been cleared to play his first game for 2022 following off-season shoulder surgery.
