I feel for Dixon here but at the same time I've wanted to see how our forward line functions without him for some time.

Finlayson, Marshall, MG. No focal point just three KPFs leading in to different space and trusting our ball users to make decisions. Keep Hayes deep in the goal square to force the opposition to keep a good tall back there too. Feels like it would be a much better use of our talent than the old plan of kicking the ball to Dixon every time and having his teammates spoil him just in case he ever looks like taking a mark.

Razzle is a much bigger issue. Needs to get right.

Torn ligaments could be a couple of months, having said that...I don't actually care that much. We're bleeding out of every orifice for freshness/changes and hopefully Dixon missing gives us some of that.

We got what we expected to get with Fantasia.

At his age Dixon will be given all the time he needs to get right. Probably about 10 weeks I think. Season is 8 weeks away so think we will see him by round 4 or 5. Gives the other guys a chance to show their talents.
Fantasia not sure about don't trust his body hopefully he gets right we know what he can do when he is fit.
