I remember when the team sheet would go up at the end of Thursday night training. It was a matter of some anxiety to see if you were picked, and where. Positions meant something then. And the sheet depicted an oval, not a rectangle.

Yeah Tunstill and Smith make for quite a solid on ball division, can't wait to see all the new lads.

Mitch Cox reminds me a little bit of Zorko with the way that he plays.
So it would be a good story if he were to come on and play a few games for us in the next few years. As Zorko fades.

Thought Bailey was the new Zorko. But I can live with two.
Love it when those overlooked guys come in and become really good players. The games of Martin (Ess) and Hayes (StK) last week were exceptional.

I think the Zorko comparison also works from the point of view that they have both had to overcome rejection to get to play senior AFL footy - hopefully Cox will make it in a similar vein to Zorks.

Same game last season and we’d be down 5 goals by now. Our pressure hasn’t been too bad and our backline has looked solid.

Not exactly enthralling watch but at least we're only 7 points down after the ball was camped in our defence for like 15 minutes. Like Madden's run off half back. Matho can't stop getting his hands on it but really should take a second or two before slapping the ball on his foot.
