When I renewed I was told this is the last yr the AFL would let them use old school cards as we were one of the last clubs to do so.
That being said I'm pissed my old man doesn't have a smart phone.
What happens when yr kids want to go to the toilet and need to show a card to get back to your seats?

I don't think it's the transition that is the issue, I think it's the fact it's very sudden and one week from the start of round one. Add on that the process to get your ticket online is absolutely cactus it's just all round bad for everyone ontop of the blindside.

Potential dilemma coming up for the club - if the crowds drop off but our form is okay/good they'll have to admit they ****ed up the ticketing; if the crowds drop off and our form is crap they have to admit either the ticketing or the coach is no good.

I reckon the ticketing manager will get the flick before the coach.

The club admits nothing ever. They are yet to even admit we played in a prelim last year.

I have the app and account but does anyone know if my 2 kids have to download the app and start an account or would I be able to access their barcodes via mine?

No you should be able to add them all to sto card or apple wallet. I have been using digital tickets since Covid and I just upload all three and then scan one at a time as they enter.

Yep test tickets worked, my barcode field for my normal tickets was empty. I think they're only releasing the barcode 3 days before games, so we will need to log in and get your ticket before every home game. Shithouse implementation if you ask me.

See I opted for digital membership and I have already have access for all home games that actually have dates and times scheduled. Already uploaded to my apple wallet already

Received membership pack this morning, complete with a plastic card that does not admit to games (no cost cutting benefit here at all), a lanyard for a card that serves no purpose at all and a Club 1870 members badge that has had no effort put into it at all.

Received a foundation AFLW pack that I did not sign up for, and it's clear the branding is going to be all teal for our women's team and black and teal for the mens

I got a notification that my daughters non-ticketed membership is on its way.

Surely the club should have prioritised ticketed memberships over non-ticketed and AFLW?

Thanks. It feels a lot like forcing members and their 'shared ticket network' onto the app so they can market to them.

Probably also supports the introduction of a system for the club getting a cut from the resale of match day tickets when the members can't attend.

I have 2 GA season tickets but for the last few years the correspondence makes it look like I only have one (& no receipt with a $ amount on it). Makes for a nervous time until both member packs actually arrive.

I'm disappointed we're not back to scanning in with a member card again. So much cruisier than this stupid QR code crap.

My wife just received her pack. And her Jonas card. There is no barcode so I talked her through the app to show her where the tickets will be before each week

She then said what about the magpies games? Does anyone know will these be sent to the app each week as well.
