Your midfield is awesome, but N Daicos is wasted on the bench, and then you need to find six scoring rookies across defence and forwards. If you want to try your luck with midfield midpricers like Berry and Constable then I'd go with one less premo mid and beef up your backs and forwards a bit

He’s midfield is nice but he’s weak in all other areas except the rucks

Tempted just to keep rolling mid-pricers in my midfield. Shiel and Rowell offer some good value.

Forwardline looks mint.

I ended up getting Impey in eventually (Rd7) and broke him soon after. You're welcome.

Charlie's been training with the midfield group apparently.

He has stints in there every pre-season (when not injured) but more because he pushes so high up the field he can be used as an outlet on transition. His ground level skills are really clean for a big guy.

Will play forward, but looks like TDK is going to be playing deeper so who knows? Could score really well playing as a high half forward.

Like his price, just worried about re-injury/getting rested but that likely doesn’t matter until later in the season when he’s already been upgraded.

I'm not that keen on Berry. Need to see where he's playing in preseason. Plenty of other good SC scorers at the lions - Neale, Lyons, Dorko, now there is talk of Rayner and Bailey in there too. Not ruling him out, just need to wait and see.

Interested to hear your thoughts on this one guys.... Darcy is probably the number 1 player I would want that is not currently in this team.

If I were to do this, my preference would be to downgrade Berry to a rookie and upgrade Big O. If I was to upgrade Witts to Darcy then I would have to downgrade Danger to Serong as well.

Just my two cents but I would downgrade Danger to a rookie (Johnson from Freo seems as good a chance to play as any) and spend the money on upgrading Witts, Houston and Howe.

You also need to get SP Gould in there a.s.a.p.

Raynor coming off an ACL no thanks. Curnow is interesting, but not likely to be a keeper. Forward rookies are usually bad so the less the better.

Rowell is reportedly "training the house down" hard to see him being a keeper, but I'd prefer him to Berry despite the price difference, due to security of role. Really trying to avoid starting with a potenital M8 as I'll never upgrade them to a SP. The Red Bull is tempting though, him and his bff waxing all season........

I must admit, my sphincter feels very tight with Howe in the team but the upside is there...

Yes I had the Cerra experience also. Will try hard to stick to GnR in the mids, take risks elsewhere. The problem with kents like that is they are never your biggest problem, so you never get rid of them. Then at the end of the season they are a POD vs a SP mid and you are down 20-30 points.

Would drop Wanganeen Milera and Rachele to just some standard price rooks and you can go Treloar/Taranto to Dunkley and one of Short or Daniel to Lloyd.

Wouldn't bother with the higher price rooks in early drafts, your current rendition is good to fall back on though so keep it saved.

Yep, and 90 avg still looks OK on a spreadsheet but you don’t make any money and their big scores are countered with scores of like 67.

I’m usually the biggest advocate of backing a couple of SP break out options, but I’m going to be giving it a miss this year.
