Bench is the concern. Expensive rooks on the bench really stings, I don't think I've ever done that before (maybe one expensive rookie on the bench, once or twice in like 10 years of SC)

Wasn't a huge possession getter last year. Not totally convinced on him yet.

Poor scoring at the start of the year dragging his average down.
Bigger games later in the year pushing it up.
His average was 63 in 2020 across 9 SANFL games as a 16 year old.

If a squib like L Jones can go @ 70, surely McGovern can in the same role. Curnow should be good for 80 if his body holds up.

A bit more tinkering brings version 3. Got rid of a few risky mid-pricers to bring in Butters and strengthen the rookies. More high price rookies than I generally like, but a couple could be downgraded to upgrade the $102k rookies who don't come up or to bring in a mid-priced likely keeper.

Knightmare compared him to Greenwood last year.
Much to the disgust of the North board.
He does tackle a lot. I can understand the comparison.

It may not. We won't know until round 1 teams drop. If there aren't enough playing defensive rookies I can move back toward the second version of my team which had a strong D4 mid-pricer. Nothing's set in stone at this stage, but I'd like to go with this structure if I can.
