Ok so I have landed on this, 20k in the bank. Feedback appreciated. Only thing I see changing is Wingard down to Weller and Sicily into Crisp. Feel this is safer tho

Just a heads up that Wingard has had an ankle injury and hasn’t been involved match sim or practice matches this preseason. Maybe move him to your watch list as a trade in target.

Brought Berry into the midfield and moved Sinn to the bench...Comden will get some game time however l will need to find a bench playing option for the defence...l will wait for rd1 now to see who to select on the bench...

Can you elaborate though? Why?
Dow actually had a decent spell of scoring when he actually got bulk midfield time.
With Cerra gone and Walters confirmed playing as a forward, there's definitely a spot for Brodie in the middle. He's averaged 70 and 80 in the past, with a few 90+ and 100+ scores.

Yeah I don't actually think Brodie is even best 22. Freo board pretty pessimistic on his chances R1 too.
Massive tank issues, and just don't know that there's enough points to go around contending with Fyfe, Bray, Serong, Mundy.
I see the upside however!

Don‘t worry about it. Trade down a premo to him after Round 2 if required. Hard to upgrade if he tanks.

We need a community meeting to discuss the term mid pricer.To determine the difference between a high price cash cow, a stepping stone, and a genuine mid pricer.

I only see 2 genuine mid pricers, Rowell and Hewett.

Past consensus has been that midprice is anything more than the No1 draft pick (JHF at $207,300) and less than 450k. That technically means Sicily and Butters are (just) mid-pricers.

I'm late to this discussion and there have been comments to this effect already, but...

• Injured/fallen premo mid-pricer ala Sicily ($450k-$500k)
• Breakout high priced mid-pricer ala Hewett and Weller
• Broken premo ala Cogs
• Breakout broken young gun ala Butters/Rowell/Berry (young?)
• Low end mid-pricer ala Cogs (multi category), Berry(multi category), Caldwell, Curnow(?)

Easy to get distracted this time of the season. Pick your "must have" players (premos) and then create a few different teams around them. Screenshot each team. Leave money in the bank for teams that have low priced rookies, or spend every dollar if you take the higher priced rooks which gives you options to switch down.
When round 1 teams get announced you have a couple of different strategies up your sleeve but you're not compromising your structure
