Yeah, I think I have enough money on the bench to do some shifting around and taking whoever's green.
I'd say it looks like only 1 of your current bench rookies is likely to play Round 1. Good luck replacing 4 x $102k rookies!Thoughts on this one guys have $36500 remaining

Forward line needs a boost. Prob have to sacrifice a mid.here's my latest creation... and I don't really like it... just find something I'm happy with
$80,300 in the bank

Going with a very similar forward line. Out of lines, I think it has the best value and the cheapest rookie options, so you can probably afford to go light there and use the extra to get Cripps.Forward line needs a boost. Prob have to sacrifice a mid.
Could put Will Kelly back as will play soon or at least a floating donut. Put McCartin fwrd.

Yep, forward line is the only line where we'll get a few cheap green dots. Sure the scoring and JS is shaky, but if we're paying $150k/$160k for bench players in DEF and MID, then we need to take cheap option somewhere, and FWD is only line that might give them to usGoing with a very similar forward line. I took Degoey out, bought it a rookie and took Dylan Stephens out for Cripps.
I'd consider Rayner, Durdin (should play round 1). Chop Ports Hayes have Dixon or other Hayes r3. I can't see the 4 frwrd rooks making much $ or the r3 so will be pointless regardless how cheap they are. Rest of side looks great though!Yep, forward line is the only line where we'll get a few cheap green dots. Yeah, agree with you my man. Plus we may also have the luxury to loophole scores as well, ideally you don't want to field three rookies and rely on a potential loophole, but this year is a little different.Yep, forward line is the only line where we'll get a few cheap green dots. I was just thinking... If Preuss is the main ruck for Giants in round 1 with Hogan, Himmelberg and Riccardi as the talls/ruck chop-out, and Preuss is good enough to consider at R3, then you have to consider him at R2.Worth taking a chance with Preuss IMO. Not too fussed about weak defenders as there may be breakout DPPs such as Ward/Pendles. 4 rookies on field with Ward and Daicos looking solid.

Not sure he can ruck for long enough to only go in with one can he?I was just thinking... If Preuss is the main ruck for Giants in round 1 with Hogan, Himmelberg and Riccardi as the talls/ruck chop-out, and Preuss is good enough to consider at R3, then you have to consider him at R2.
With a 90 average he's $400k by round 7 or 8, then you can grab the best option of Gawn/Darcy/Grundy.
Issue is if it fails, you're f’ed and you're season is over lol.
There isn’t a single starting mid rook under 130K is there? Weird start to the season.
nope, not yet. The one's we thought were locked now in doubt. So yeah you gotta have a plan
If there are no mids under 130k full mid priced madness will get very serious consideration.
Very similar to my current lineupView attachment 1339692
This is where we sit currently, may downgrade Brodie to a 120-150k rookie if one presents, then upgrade Sicily or Heeney to Short or Dusty. Structure set tho
Better than I thought. I guess it's more concern that he won't be sole ruck.re Preuss, I did some research before last season
Preuss playing as the main ruck:

That's why I have English, who can be swung in to rucks. Whilst Preuss is playing I am getting Preuss' and English's score as against Gawn and a low priced rookie. Pies were winning the clearances with Grundy vs Flynn, but tiring Grundy struggled against Preuss. Preuss needs ruck back up as doesn't have a huge tank plus injury prone. Still Hall had a bad history before last year but ended up ok.I was just thinking... Yes good point. If you take Preuss at R2, then you need a RUCK/FWD like English or Jackson in your side, just in case shit hits the fan, otherwise season over basically. That's why I have English, who can be swung in to rucks.
