Is everybody taking a donut for loophole?
At this stage I'm leaning towards no
I reckon I'll have rookies dropped in round 2
I'll only grab a donut for loophole if my bench E scores 140 (Gulden says hi)
Happy to slap the C on Max Gawn for the season opener

I like it a lot, so many risks with those 3 Carlton blokes along with Brodie. If it pulls off tho you're laughing
Can you afford it with all the other expensive rookies we need to pay for?Preuss scoring 100 against Grundy is clearly the best R3 option for me

That's why I have English, who can be swung in to rucks. Whilst Preuss is playing I am getting Preuss' and English's score as against Gawn and a low priced rookie. Pies were winning the clearances with Grundy vs Flynn, but tiring Grundy struggled against Preuss. Preuss needs ruck back up as doesn't have a huge tank plus injury prone. Still Hall had a bad history before last year but ended up ok.
Yeah but only with 3 premium midfieldersCan you afford it with all the other expensive rookies we need to pay for?
Very good squad Testy
Very nice well balanced team brother
Just O'Driscoll and Mead not sure of, apart from that bloody good!Alright lads couldn't tell ya how many times I've chopped and changed my team this week watching the pre season games and trying out different structures. As the AAMI series comes to an end I've come to the conclusion that 2 premo forward line is the meta due to the amount of potential value mid pricer options that have presented themselves (Cogs, Gov, Xerri, Brodie, Ralphsmith, rookie Rachele etc). I know some picks could be traps and injury concerns but the upside and value is just too much to ignore and pass up.
I've dropped Heeney from the FWD line and loaded up on the picks I think have substantial value. This leaves me with a 4-4-2-2 structure that includes: 12 keepers including 3x 650k mids + neale, the mid pricers like Berry, Cogs, Gov etc and all the must have high priced rookies.
$37,400 in the bank to be used on any rookie/mid price correction/Macrae/Gawn over Darcy etc

I’m very very similar to this. Tried the three onfield defensive rookies but it’s just not realistic.Alright lads couldn't tell ya how many times I've chopped and changed my team this week watching the pre season games and trying out different structures.
