Lots of legit options at the kennel, how many is too many?

backs - Helmet, Dale
mids - Macrae, Bont,
forwards - Dunkley, Treloar, English
Interesting .....in 2020 The Bulldogs were the highest ranked team for SC Total Points

In 2021 ....it was SYD ....Crows the lowest point scoring Club

I haven't a SYD player in my side currently

What did St Kilda ever do to you?

v2.2.1

last night i got up to v2.0.78 .. drove myself insane

taranto not in many teams. full backline. premo rookies.

14 premos + cogs. defenders and rucks sorted. just leaves me to snipe 7 super premos once they have an off game.

not happy i got rid of rowell and have 7 rookies to upgrade. but if rowell gets off to a blinder I'll happily trade him in. until then its GnR.
I love this!!!
That forward line is awesome.

No Grundy and FAR too light in the midfield for mine.
Treloar and Sicily priced well BUT the risk is they miss games (injury/suspension).

are you rating grundy over gawn? nicnat is my pod who served me amazingly last year.

but yes i agree. extremely light in the midfield. a bit of dpp magic can make that illusion disappear... but youre right. not having steele or oliver and co. is very annoying. however sacrificies need to be made.

Keen to get some feedback on my initial team. Gone for a lot more mid pricers than usual this year at this stage not sure if it’s a great strategy.

Rookies are subject to change based on pre season R1 selections.

I do see Treloar & Rowell as potential keepers though. 830504A4-2015-466A-865E-87A47724D23D.jpeg E5B30293-5E5A-4B72-BCA6-0BB9DA4531CE.jpeg

My inclination would be to put Treloar in the forward line instead of someone like Will Kelly, as I think a midfield rookie will provide more value than a KPP rookie of the same price.

Move Treloar forward. Like the Gresham pick (I have him too). Witts is an interesting one. Good player but coming off an ACL injury.

Is everyone basically going 1-4 premos in the mids to accommodate JHF/Daicos/Ward/Stephens/Macrae etc ?
Because FWD/DEF rookies are unlikely to play, so having an extra mid rookie to make money and get scores is worth the sacrifice. If you have all your bench playing and making money it's a huge advantage.

Currently, the best looking cash cows are in the middle, so that's why everybody is starting less mid premos.

I was dreaming of a 5 God starting midfield with Neale at M5, but I had to drop one and Neale is now at M4. Though now I'm considering dropping another and taking Neale at M3. No way Neale gets to M2, way too risky for me, plus you're losing genuine captain options.

Let's hope a few cheap DEF and FWD rookies pop up so we can have a more "balanced" side.

Macrae :padlock:
Steele :padlock:
Oliver
Titch

Neale :padlock:
(one of Oliver or Titch stays if Neale ends up at M4)

Yeah starting to realise def rookies are looking pretty slim - Wouldn’t mind a Milera type @ D5 for example

Makes sense getting a JHF to sure up other lines :thumbsu:

No ....staying with 5 Mids ...Neale at M5

Will only take 2 of the 3 premium Rookies ....and a no to Finlay Macrae
