Just my opinion but there looks to be a lot of value this year in rookie mids so i'd drop one of your mid premos and use that money in defense. Most on here seem to be running with only 3 - 4 mid premos for this reason.

Good rookie options have already been mentioned. If you are going to run with Milera, then he needs to be at least D5.

Its better than most in here IMO.
You haven't overloaded on midpricers.
If the defence rookies don't show up round 1 berry to rioli would work.

3 rookies on field nice.
I don't mind it.
Your forward and mid midpricers are far better than your defenders.
But TBH there isn't many defender mid pricers available.

With 35 trades and super-dooper trade weeks this is the year to go value picks and then trade hard in my opinion.
So I'm happy to go mid-pricers across each line.



Probably pretty standard really, am tempted to back my gut again with Brayshaw (freo), he was a good pick last year, but not a great pick.

Depending on how they go during Ansett, most likely one of them will be my starting F2. Treloar also on the watch list for that spot.

Duncan is the clear second choice forward after Dunkley this year. He was being tossed around as a mid option late last year at times. Cats aren’t oozing with A grade mids these days and he’s the best user in the team. Treloar the other option.

Nope. Recently changed Ridley to Whitfield as need the cash for these expensive mid rookies.

3-4 premo DEF
5 premo MID
2 premo RUCK
2 or 3 premo FWDs (if Cogs can get his shit together)

Not sure if I think Tracc can finish as a Top 8 MID, so could be a fringe premo selection. Other route is taking someone like Duncan/Crisp and swing them FWD/DEF once upgrades begin, or just opt for Rowell.
