Unfortunately we’re just not at the level of the Cats at this stage and that’s ok. They’re an experienced team with seasoned veterans and big bodies built to win right now.

We’ll be closer next season but for now, keep the eye on the main prize; a finals berth.

Lick our wounds and focus on the next 2 must-win games vs GWS and the Crows.

Big show, Geelong are old, experienced and well drilled. We let them do their thing and were sucked in by perceived as much as real pressure.

We were simply outplayed all over the field.

Umpiring was really poor but the impacted scoreline not the result.

TDK our best for mine, the mids were all well beaten.

Oh well, shit happens. more a reality check on this board than anything else. We are a genuine 5-10 side, results show it and push comes to shove we went to water against who are the best in the comp at the moment.

I could barely name a 'good' player so that says alot. Totally outplayed all over the park which is disappointing.

Really poor in our ball handling, everyone fumbled and it kills you and the tackling was atrocious, we just let them get their arms out and handball it to a runner.

Overall a really poor performance and totally outplayed. A lot of players found out and hopefully will be better for the experience.

This...no big deal. Plenty to learn, we just played the best.

Incredible how every time we went i50 Geelong had 1-2 spares and repelled all night.

Their pressure and structure was impressive...our boys just never got time and space.

Cats were better. OK.
But seriously they did not get a clear decision by the umps against them and got some insanely soft frees to the usuals.
Even the 50 when dangerflog had the ball was a frickin joke.

Can’t wait to meet them in September with a proper set of umps. 22 is a joke and always will be.

Harden up boys and let’s get the next couple.

Yes, the umpires were the issue.....
