Cripps back, good, have to have a crack....agree on some mid options
Fish will be a star,he is good, some mid time for him plus we can put ASOS for a spell with Cripps....especially if he can get amounst it,i guess try a few options in the games and see what works?

I think Doc has hit a wall a bit. I thought at the mid way point of the year or so he was a lock for AA half back but has since faded and doesn't look to have the same energy he did.

Not a criticism at all as any positive output from him this season would've been amazing, so it's still a massive credit to him. Just pointing out it seems he's tired.

Whilst it's great having Cripps back. but trying to beat Demons is a Massive challenge.
We need every single player to contribute and at least come close to breaking even, and then hopefully a few of our stars get off the chain and get us over the line.
You would think that Charlie & Harry must have big games.
The small forwards need to in the play, and not go missing.
I agree with many other posters our Wingers, need to at least break even.
And finally, Pittonet must have an impact, with our Midfielders.
I just hope we get our early season form back. Running out of time.
Just don't think about the Saints game we dropped. FFS !!!

I’m taking my oldest girl to the game, she’s playing Auskick at halftime. Hopefully having a kick within the best stadium in the world will give her a bit of sporting inspiration.
Please weather gods don’t let it be a cold night like at the Geelong game.
Carlton by 21 points (& I’ll be forced to take her home at 3-4 time)

The thing about Melbourne this year (as opposed to last) is that they give you a chance. They have periods where they dominate the game and look as though they are going to put a large distance on the scoreboard- but they don't. They allow teams to come back at them.

How we take our chances during this period will determine the outcome.

I usually agree but there were a couple of moments in last week's game that Dow pulled out of a contest. As an inside mid you cannot afford to be like that, unfortunately.
you forced me to look at his stats and found 1 tackle, 9 pressure acts... vs say Cerra. 5 tackles, 27 pressure acts. hmm. I can see why he got dropped, but the afl game is quick and I am still prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. I guess a cut throat game is not the place to give someone the benefit of the doubt :)

There wasn’t a clash for 120+ years until some bozos at the AFL decided there was. I hate the white jumper… we are the Navy Blues.

Can't stand the white jumper.

We are the NAVY BLUES

Seriously disingenuous comparison- Dow attends 9 CB and wasn’t used as a mid around the ground & spent 40% on the bench
