Doggies supporter I've seen very little written about Ed Richards. Does he have scoring potential and good JS at 250k? I know nothing about him. Better pick than Chapman/Gibcus/Hinge types?

everything points to him being locked into the back six so JS is not an issue. was played up forward early in his career so its a bit hard to gauge his scoring ability. his best games have been around 75 and you need him to average at least that - he may well do that but too risky for me.

So what are we doing when SDK doesn't get named ...

Richards averages 80+ this year IMO, talented player who is now finally settling into a role, one which happens to be very SC friendly. His scores in previous years when he was thrown all over the joint aren't really all that relevant to what he can do this year.

Not currently in my team because he doesn't fit my structure, but if I could magic up another 80k I'd happily use it to upgrade a Hinge/Gibcus type to him.

Second that. And someone posted a quote from, I think, Dale (?), who said something to the effect that Richards would be a big part of their ball movement this year.

However, my concern is how many more points there are to go around at the doggies with all their premos + guys like English

All summer he seems set for a permenant spot in the backline as another one of the army of Dogs distributors (Daniel, Dale, Williams etc), whereas they have played him wing/fwd in the past or was on the fringe (Crozier & Duryea not named this week).

I currently have him at D5, see a potential 75 - 85 ave (have rotated him, Chapman & Bowey a few times)

I did take him out when there were the journo led rumours that Hunter was out, thinking that Ed would be back on the wing.

I guess I have until 7.10pm tomorrow to make the call. Yeah Footy is BACK!!!

Seeing a lot less teams with Ralphsmith of late.

People getting off for cheaper rookies?
There’s him, McGovern and Xerri.

Xerri the better option IMO if he’s playing Ruck. If he’s not named for some bizarre reason, straight to Ralphsmith

If bato calls it, :padlock:
Haha! I remember his first couple of posts getting called out. “Who the **** are you?” “Another newby troll!” He soon proved us wrong.
